Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The answer to Twink's problem was on sale in Aldi today; deep canvasses that don't need frames. Bought some.

Great offer on bird seed too :)

But please, No mention of Twink, I just couldn't bare it

It's the modern thing, tasteful, and saves on the cost of frames. Easier to store too.

The irony is not lost on me that the picture of Twink is up close and in full HD while the picture of Lyndsay is from a distance and pixelated. I'm sure many of us wish it was the other way around.

Would love to see her paintings here, btw :)

If Joe can show his wares, so can we!

Let's name some white collar criminals who were featured on Liveline; take two in Pat Hickey and Ivor Callely. Then look at the biased treatment Joe gave them.

He has a bee in his bonnet about the legal profession. Maybe a year ago he led off on something about judges by describing them in 'their greasy nightcaps and nightshirts'. So what's his issue?

Maybe it stems back from the day when he broke his leg . He settled out of court rather than having the settlement known. Possible that the insurance company gambled on this and lowballed him. Or it's something petty like he's had his planning refused.

Don’t forget Dr Sam, the medic who evaded tax by fraud. Joe loved him.

Dobson & pppukar names on de news and dat. My name is totally exclusive. Not a strange or unusual sounding name at all, but I am the only person in the entire world with my first name+surname combination, and very oddly my first name is only slightly commonplace in France.

Well, today he should have trouble deciding what to cover
    Triple murder/suicide
16year sentence for the actual definition of evil (man raping 6 month old baby)
Free houses for people arriving in country

Jesus that is a bit close...I thought it was that doll on the bicycle from the Saw films initially.

Reminds me of the classic quote from Tootsie

This is the most petty and personal attack on a soft target. RTE really should be ashamed of themselves.

They don't want to cover the Terenure College story because Gemma O'Doherty was specifically thanked by the victims on RTE News. If they allow the victims to come on air now, there is a chance that they might do the same on his show and he can't have that.

    He won't let it go.

Something is going in with him personally and this case.

This is 3rd day of this and only one person has called in on it. A criminal with 20 years convictions at that.

I'd looove to be behind a man in a chemist negotiating the purchase of it :D
The way I once had a ringside seat of a young guy in next cubicle with red sore balls.

He can be sanctimonious and wring his hands as much as he wants, but in the grand schemes the supposedly legitimate financial institutions in this country have done far more damage to society than this pair of solicitors ever could. But this is liveline, perspective is completely lost and bias takes over.

Caller lead show....Joe has been ranting about this for 8 minutes?!...

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,730 ✭✭✭TheHomeService

Duffy still flogging this dead horse, and claiming the nation is outraged.

Being generous, one caller and only one caller, contacted the show. Lonergan and Alice were contacted by Liveline.

This is a serious abuse of position by Duffy, aided and abetted by RTE.
