Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A lot of people are filthy so I suppose most spend about zero minutes cleaning..

A tip for those with shower screens: keep a squeegee in the shower and use it just after showering. No need for anything else, keeps the glass spotless.

I use Jif for the shower screen too. I’ll go over the toilet and sink with a track wipe most of the time as Cif isn’t antibacterial.
Kitchen is Jif Cream in the sink and cooker top and Jif or flash spray on counters. Rarely use bleach though in case it marks it.

    Jif?
Do you eat a Marathon bar while doing it?

Cif (Jif) for the bath and sink and chrome fittings, Flash for the shower screen, Flash with bleach for kitchen units (they are white) and countertops. Jif for kitchen sink area.

For deep cleans and very tough dirt/grease - Cillit Bang and a sponge scourer is yer man! :D

Tesco wipes for the light bathroom clean.

What kind of Cif do you use for the bath and sink?

Were you not part of the world in the good days of Jif?

It depends on the room and the time of year. In summer the whole house is vacuumed and dusted in 20 minutes. In winter, when there isn't as much to do outdoors, I could take 30 minutes just doing the sitting room - vacuum, dust, wax, clean suite, etc. In winter the bathroom might take twenty minutes every couple of weeks doing a deep clean of shower unit, tiles and so on. A winter kitchen clean could be half a day if all units are cleaned, fridge and cooker deep cleaned. So very dependent on the time available and other priorities.

Can I tempt you to do a house call in the NW? :) Seriously, that sounds wonderful. My husband does not have the photoreceptor cells in his eyes to notice dirt. Dreadful affliction :( Hereditary, apparently.

I get a bird from Bulgaria to call every two weeks to clean the place and to do the ironing. I’ll keep the place ticking over between then.

That's a long way to come just to do a bit of cleaning.

Do you wash yourself by rolling around in the morning dew? None of that nasty soap.

Lemon juice and baking soda. Vinegar to rinse.

First they came for the socialists...

Might as well pour lemon Cif all over yourself and save time juicing lemons
