Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Insurance for single apartment in absence of management company?

    Hi all,

I'm looking at buying an apartment, one of four under the same roof, with the intention of letting. There is no management company. Have contacted a number of brokers and insurers, and no one is willing to insure it. Is anyone aware of an insurer that will do this in Ireland?

The only other possibility seems to be to get in contact with the owners of the three apartments and collectively get block insurance. Any other ideas?

    Cheers!

What sort of insurance are you trying to get for it?

You can only get Block Insurance for the 4 apartments and divide the cost. It cannot work any other way.
