Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You know how alarms always go off on really hot day? My superior knowledge of residential alarm systems tells me that this is because they are temperature dependent. Ice cream is cold.

Also, wouldn't be very well planned of me to commit B&E just to have forgotten the flowers would it? :p

It seems that competent art skills are not a prerequisite for a life in the stalker industry :\

how about call her instead of texting?

She might actually answer...then you'll know. If she doesnt, leave a voicemail (the sound of your voice apologising might get her to call you back)

    DONT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
    • cry
    • beg
    • cry
    • beg
    • cry
    • beg

nothing more desperate (or so i hear)

I was dating a woman that I *really* liked, we got on really well, she said she liked me, then she was busy for a week, then nada, zip, nothing on the communicado front.

You don't sound very good at taking hints :D

I though sending flowers with a note might be nice to do, however while I know her address, she never actually told it to me

Sounds like your next hint will be from a court telling you to stay the fúck away from the nice lady your stalking!

    Fück the flowers
Step 1: Make sure she is not inside the house
Step 2: Get inside the house
Step 3: Get into her bedroom
    Step 4: Get naked
Step 5: When she returns to go to bed and opens her bedroom door burst into a showstopping rendition of "I Will Always Love You"

Step 6: Invite me to the wedding
Step 7: Name firstborn pmasterson jnr.

The more time you waste on her the less time you have with the person you are supposed to be with in a healthy relationship. Think of all the fun you are missing out on!

You deserve someone who wants you back. Ask yourself why you are prepared to pursue less than that?

You sir, are a scholar and a sage! May I sit at your feet and collect the morsels of wisdom you see fit to drop, as I toil to braid the mighty beard one so wise as yourself must surely drag behind him as he wanders the halls of knowledge not open to us mere mortals? :p:D :pac:

    *googles lyrics to mentioned song...

Although non contact is the sensible route, it offers a poor enjoyment return for us as a community so it's imperative that your next move be an extravagant bouquet and an alarming stalker message.

Check back here with the reaction and for further instructions.

If she had any sort of feelings for you she would have at least had the decency to say look I'm not looking for a relationship or whatever but she hadn't even the decency to reply to you so why would you bother replying. Forget about her completely and definitely do NOT send her anything at all, that would put you into downright creepy asshole territory.

She's creepy. Disappearing like that...odd odd odd. Send the flowers to someone you've a chance with.

Firstly, no to the flowers. And is probably best to walk away. However if you really want to give it one more try either ring her, or text her and say something to the effect you just wanted to apolgies again and that you will leave her alone from now on but that you would be delighted to hear from her if she ever wants to get in touch.

Thanks for the advice & bants all, defo added a bit of sorely needed perspective!

Yes it was odd dropping off radar altogether without so much as an "I'll call you", which is what had me initially confused and lost for what to do (I tend to be action/solution based); I mean stalker or otherwise we were getting on like a house on fire, I'm generally a bit of craic and I've been told I dont usually smell too bad.
Ah well sure: onwards and upwards I guess! ;):)

It's probably quite upsetting knowing that the last thing you said was possibly ill advised. You'll probably over analyse it and only cause yourself more stress. Maybe one last message of the "really sorry, hope we can stay friends anyway" variety, not flowers.

I should add the proviso that as a married man I'm really not in the know, but have had fall outs with friends - first the harsh texts then the texts going into blame and each person saying no it was my fault and so on. Any relationship ending is upsetting, more so if you hoped for something more out if it.

Thanks Connor, that's actually a very thoughtful reply, appreciate it. I'm new to the dating scene after ending a long term relationship some time ago, before which it was the rural pub->drunk->shift scene, so I'm aware my perceptions and expectations of what constitutes normal and acceptable is going to be at least slightly different from people that are used to and expect the city dating scene. Which is a large part of the reason I thought to ask here and TBH I'm glad I did :)

They've googled the sh*t out of you but if you mention one thing that "you shouldn't" know  they get "freaked" "creeped" out. Gotta laugh at stupid people o/
