Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So the madness starts again at 9am tomorrow! Need a few tips as to how to go about getting tickets on Ticketmaster in the morning. I know it's probably a 0.00001% chance of getting one but how should I do it in the morning to give myself a small chance of getting tickets. My boss won't be in work until 10am so I will have uninterrupted access to the internet.

PC browser, phone app, colleagues to try for you if possible.
    And luck.

400 rosaries and a pint of blood from a virgin I think gets u in the queue for tickets these days. After that u gotta still pass the verified by visa :D

After that u gotta still pass the verified by visa

True, though I've been getting a free pass from the verified bit lately.

If you're planning on trying, make sure you know your verified by Visa/Mastercard password!

U2 couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery ,yet another debacle.

More like 3, 3Arena and Ticketmaster couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery .. U2 would of had fcuk all to do with any of that

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,752 ✭✭✭johnpatrick81

True, but they could pay a bit more attention, even just for their hometown gigs.

Same thing has happened to SSE priority for Belfast so it looks like Ticketmaster/U2 feck up....Priority sale at same time as General Sale always seemed a bit ODD!

If you are in a ticketmaster outlet at 9am does that give you a better chance of getting a ticket?

  • Registered Users Posts: 344 ✭✭fennor72

Does anyone know how much the red zone is? I can't find a price online

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,070 ✭✭✭neilc

Got 2 standing for the 5th (my birthday :)) with my innocence code but out of interest how did people receive the album pre sale code. I pre ordered the album on iTunes but never got one.

No that gives you a worse chance. Think of how long each transaction takes.

Red zone is 325 euro before all fees.

You appear to be mistaking U2 for a band who actually cares about their fans.

Also, no Ticketmaster outlets have tickets.

    Gives you zero chance.
Only tickets being sold tomorrow are online and at the 3 arena (for Dublin). Not in outlets.

Going to be a lot of angry people at Ticketmaster outlets tomorrow.

I think this is great value at 925 euro ,I'm tempted to treat myself .
    U2 VIP Travel Package

    * TWO General Admission standing tickets to see U2 live at 3Arena, Dublin
    * Exceptional 4-star hotel accommodations (one room per order), walking distance from 3Arena
    * VIP Escorted walk from hotel to U2 show and return
    * Pre-show reception with hors d'oeuvres & bar (beer & wine)*food offerings may vary.
    * Exclusive U2 VIP Travel Package gift, not available to general public
    * VIP entrance into the concert
    * Official U2 laminate
    * Dedicated VIP hotel check-in with travel concierge
    * Entry into a drawing for a pre show backstage tour
    * Limited availability
I especially like the idea of an official U2 laminate and the Vip escorted walk to the 3Arena where I will have a megaphone blaring Get out of My Way .:)

Two GA tickets and a room for that Saturday night in the Gibson comes in at about €475. For almost double the money, it would want to be some gift.

Tickets are being sold at outlets tomorrow.
Initially they were not but when the extra two nights were announced they changed it.
    Seats only though.

If I'm lucky enough to get a chance to get tickets on Ticketmaster tomorrow, is a Visa debit card accepted to purchase tickets? Worried that I might get through and it's not accepted.

Based on the last three tours, I cannot agree with this statement enough.

Anyone any idea where the 39 euro tickets are for?

    A seat on The Liffey?

Restricted view I'd say. I had a cheap ticket in 2015,in block D, in the middle, restricted for the screen view but absolutely perfect for watching the lads on stage. I'd be chuffed with that seat again!

    Best of luck everyone!

Just went on Ticketmaster's site to get ready for the rush and after a couple of seconds, got redirected to a "beta" ticketmaster site with a totally different layout to anything I'm used to from them.

Honestly, it's like these people are proud of being the most unimaginably irritating company in the world :D

My brother texted me asking me to get him two Saturday night standing.

Gave me a laugh anyway. :pac:

They let the people queuing up enter the 3 Arena last night as it was so cold.

  • Registered Users Posts: 41 Peter138

EVERYTHING was sold out in Belfast as soon as the page loaded for me, about 9.02.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 924 ✭✭✭lambayire

    Sorted for the Tuesday night.

Same slightly crappy seats as last time.
    But I'm going!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 41 Peter138

How can bBwlfast be sold out the second it went live. It's a farce. Won't even add to my salt by going onto their "slut sister" site.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,793 ✭✭✭g0g

Got four standing for Tuesday around 09:05, so there's hope!

Had three browsers plus app open, got them on app

    Sorted for monday night.
    Block P - 208€ a ticket

    They sure can charge

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,512 ✭✭✭Wheety

Will they add more for Dublin? 3 Arena website says U2 5-10 November. Nothing scheduled on the Tue, Wed or Thurs. Also 6 days after the Saturday are free.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,010 ✭✭✭bren2001

Got 4 standing for the Saturday. Excellent.
