Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Christmas Lights Already?

    I can't believe they're putting up the christmas lights already.
    I was in town sunday and saw them up on William St.
    That was the 26th of October :confused:

    It's a bit early don't you think?

    They always did it that early IIRC. Over the 4 Sundays before the last week in November.

    They were also putting up the Christmas lights in Dublin last night.

    yeah they always have them up before halloween,its when they start turning them on before Halloween you know there's a problem...

    they use the halloween bhw to get them up, start early on the sunday morning. used to live in apartment in town and was woken at half 5 by them drilling into my bedroom :eek:

    It was always November until now.
    I remember seeing them being put for the past 3 years.
    In 2005 it was the 16th for sure!

    And until 2005 they were never turned on until the 1st so they weren't put up until the week before.
