Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hamburg 11/12 jersey for £35, bargain!

€85 shipped on the HSV online store and most other re-sellers. I'll be ordering that, thanks OP.

When I was ordering last tine I got a few jerseys and went into the footwear section, ended up buying 2 pairs, they were so cheap it was almost criminal not to buy them!!

If you press the "?" beside the size for the cargo pants it will bring up a size chart:)

They deliver within a few days and are very efficient. You get a free gift with each order - got insoles once and a huge mug another time!

Dont forget the phone thing with DHL from before. Try and include your phone number in the address as Sports direct never give DHL the number.

What phone thing would that be? I have already placed a £70 order and didn't put down a phone number.

Putting your phone number in your address somewhere, and not just in the phone number section. As DHL had to hold packages for a few days for a good few members here, including me, until you rang them to give the phone number. Keep an eye on your DHL tracking on the dhl.ie website, as it will say "Shipment on hold".

Strange..I received something via DHL only last week and the package didn't have a number on it. Is this a sportsdirect related thing?

I ordered at 3pm and I just got an email telling me my order has been sent to the courier for delivery. Fast enough getting it out anyway!

    !
Yeah, its a sportsdirect problem.they never give DHL the phone details and they cannot contact the buyer to deliver the goods.Have been told to but the phone number in the address when you are filling out your details. My first order from sportsdirect had no number and the only reason my stuff was delivered ,was my neighbour works in a factory nearby and the driver asked him did he know me and my mate called me.probably a bigger problem for people living in cities than out the country.

I've been given a tracking number for yodel.co.uk..maybe they have changed from DHL unless that is DHL. I've not got a clue. Seems the tracking link in the email isn't working right now due to a error on the sites tracking system.
We regret that due to a technical error, we are unable to provide our web tracking service at the moment. We are investigating the problem with urgency and will return the service as soon as we can. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

You will probably need to wait till Monday or even Tuesday morning before you will see anything on tracking, although the email says shipped, it won't be picked up till Monday by DHL in my experience.

I used my credit card as i find PayPal exchange rates poor.

Probably not much in the difference but the extra few cent is better im my pocket than someone elses!

I just put through an order that was less than £48.00 and got a pair of jeans, a shirt, zip hoodie top, a tshirt, socks and jocks, a top for the gf, and i also ordered one of the big tea mugs too :D

There is the link, order it before the promotion ends and delivery is free so you'll just be paying the £0.99 for it.

I cant wait to sit drinking tea out of my big mug wearing my jeans that probably wont fit LOL!

Almost got carried away too last night. After several minutes browsing, I had added almost £150 worth of stuff into the basket. Was worried about fit so had to remove most of it, which wasn't easy at all I tell you :p

well I got a pair of asics that cost £95 and took the price up a bit:)

Oh really? i thought it was going on indefinitely

One thing I would like about the website is comments/reviews or something. For example, there was lexan mug i was looking at but it didnt say capacity - would be nice to be able to ask/ get feedback

Mine was mostly shirts & bottoms. Was gonna order 1 particular shirt in 3 different colours but then realized i'd be fecked if they don't fit. So decided to order only 1 just to be safe, and that's where the problems began. Ah, decisions, decisions :D In the end, I went with gray, maybe should have been a bit bolder and gone for pink :p
    settings wrote: »

Well it does say on the main page "OFFER EXPIRES MIDNIGHT SUNDAY 28TH AUGUST 2011".

But, I hope you're right. If everything fits nicely, then I'd be very tempted to order the stuff that I removed from my basket. The free delivery would be handy then :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 201 ✭✭settings

I just saw the banner now on the home page, this weekend only

ha, yeah i had the same t-shirt in different colours in my basket and didnt realise til I was paying.

I might make another order tomorrow, chances are I will have to send things back that do not fit anyways. I got clothes in small, medium and large in my wardrobe from different brands so I cant imagine all the different things I ordered are gonna fit.
