Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not so much when you’re going asleep at 11:30pm :(
I have slept about 26 hours this week total. Slight improvement on last week. I’m on the couch. All the cleaning done except for hoovering.

The brightness is slowly emerging, I've emerged about 1 hour at this stage.
No sign of life human life close to me, even the neighbours yard, usually lit up at this stage is still not visible.
Sunday morning tends to be a lonely one.
I'm awaiting a new life here atm, it looks like I may have to be a midwife.

    really?

Really, a heifer having her first calf, she is in some distress with her labour, I will give her till 8:30, if things haven't moved on by then I will have to intervene.
Her calf is probably in distress too at this stage.

Best of luck- what will you call the calf?:D

Waking at four to soundless dark, I stare.
In time the curtain-edges will grow light.
Till then I see what’s really always there:
Unresting death, a whole day nearer now,
Making all thought impossible but how
And where and when I shall myself die.

Hopefully just first time nerves with the heifer. First timers need that extra attention.

Sending you a virtual pair of extra hands for calving jack.

Bed trying to decide if it's exhaustion or a cold/flu. Listening to my dad talk to my niece on the phone downstairs. It's hilarious, he loves these phone calls so much, I think he gets more out of them than my niece!

    Ahh, a new thread!

I’m still bedside, with my head under the blankets because it’s cold out there. Heading to Limerick later to watch the Super Bowl with the boyfriend and staying in there tonight. Handy as I have a meeting in the morning so I won’t be rushing to get there

Since then lit fire etc and scorched the email programme with a reply to an official letter...

abed resting listening to a cat snore

That's my problem in bed too Grace's, in bed I have to listen to a big kitty snoring.
It's funny the romantic notions people get with teddy's and kitty's, put the two of us together in bed and between farting and snoring it's a noisy spot, let alone when there's any hanky panky.

Slowly coming back to life after a day nursing a hangover.

Got 2 of my mates to come review a bar with me and we then went on a pub crawl. 2 of us ended up at an all night bar and went home at 6am.

I'm mid forties, she is in her 50's. Will we ever grow up?

Kitchenside, almost ready to head to Limerick for the night. I have so many bags you’d swear I was moving in! (One has my stuff for the night and a change of clothes for tomorrow, one has my stuff for the gym after college tomorrow and one has my laptop/books/lunch for college)
