Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just imagine going for a dip in the sea, then getting out of the water all covered and dripping in sea snot. Seems to be a thick layer of sticky mucas like foam caused by untreated sewage mixed with algae and higher than usual water temperature.

Ferries and other boats that travel along the sea of Marmara, which stretches between the sea of Bosporus and the Agean have to navigate the grey snot like sludge, Yak.

Thankfully our shoreline is relatively clean & pollution free by comparison, but have you ever swam in a polluted sea? Have you ever come across 'sea snot' before?

Every time I hear this on the news it reminds me that the Irish for jellyfish is smugairle róin, which translates as seal snot.
