Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You'd probably have a better chance asking in the 4x4 & Tractors & Diggers & Plant forum.

Recovery and Winch are doing the best deals here at the moment, €380 for a 12000lb winch I think (they were at Dartfield and doing even better deals on the day)
    http://www.superwinch.ie/#/homepage/4534745576

All the cheap winches come from China and are fine for general use. You can buy Warn or Superwinch if you're making serious use but they will be 3-4 times the price. Some of the challenge truck owners will have two modified twin motor Warn 8274s fitted at around £5000 a piece

If you want a bit of back up from a supplier and a wide range, Goodwinch are well respected http://www.dborc.co.uk/goodwinch/

You'll need to add cost of a winch bumper and possibly Plasma rope to replace the wire rope.

Winch for your own recovery? - electric

Winch for recovering someone/something else? - pto driven

    More info needed.

Electric winches are available cheap & cheerful for occaisional use, top notch stuff is deep money.

PTO/Hydraulic winches need yer engine running, but they are serious workhorses, mechanical fitment & tend to be expensive.

    So what you want?
