Use these for a few years now, no problems.

Absolutely drop the weight by going down lense diameter but stick with double cell units.

I have a 67mm double cell one for the scope mount and a 67mm single cell for searching/scanning. The double is the more powerfull in my opinion.

Buy the kits, as postal is a bit steep and you will save in the long run.

I use these on foxs and rabbits and they are fit for purposes. Its all great having a light that reaches out 300m plus but realisticly not many of us are shooting night time critters at that distance.

I flip the set up around for rabbits when using the .22.

Just a tip I picked up here or on some other site. If your scope set up is low mounted and running a moderator put a piece of tape across the objective bell housing just below the half way point to eliminate glare off the mod or barrel.

No experience with the Tracer Ledray F900, a bit rich for my blood.

I have the TX-67 lamp, with a picatinny rail on the scope with a quick release clamp on the lamp. Pig tail switch on the side make is easier to turn on and off the lamp. Very easy to change from flood to spot with just a few twists of the lamp head. Have white, green, red and IR interchangeable led pills.
That 3rd pic of a tree (forgive the poor quality, was trying to hold the rifle and phone at the same time!) is 150m away on 8x power and 50mm obj lens. Its a lot clearer through the scope than in the pic.

This is the lamp I have, you can get it cheaper if you go for the one without the IR pill.
