    Herein Donegal we've had a predominant easterly Wind for quite a lot of May and even on warm Sunny days there has been a cold 'bite' in the wind. Saying that's, we've had a very dry May with only a day or two of rain so it's not all bad.

    ah yeah quite agree, quite dry on the whole - its just that breeze....

    I have been really cold the last few days. Yet we had some really warm temps last week, very little almost no wind here and it's a nice dry period.

    But there are days when it feels unseasonably chilly for May. Have to light the fire in the evenings which I haven't done for years in May - it's strange.

    All the weather stations reporting to met.ie are reporting below average mean temperatures for the past week. Shannon quoted a mean of 11.5c, 1c below average mean for this time of the year.
