    Skill Based matchmaking is killing the experience of IB for me. The lag is beyond a joke.

    Getting placed into matches which are already underway too constantly. Seriously like, I've played 5 so far and in four of them I've been placed into games where the team is 2,000+ points behind.

    You're much better off to stay in the game you're in, even if you get hammered in a game or two, it will come around and balance up. As a single player you will (practically) always get added to games where people drop out as part of the losing side. If you stick in there the SBMM will eventually give you a few wins.

    Was wrecking the place with my hunter last night - the tripmine gods were with me. 25 tripmine kills in 5 games, and a load of tripmine assists for other team mates, and for myself. Great backing an enemy up on to a sneakily placed trip mine then 'PEW' headshot sidearm kill!

    Got a beastly Iron Wreath drop - rangefinder (CORMAC!), hotswap and handloaded (for even more range). Boom.

    Got a decent fusion drop too.

    Didn't know IB was scheduled for yesterday! Might pop into the Crucible for a few games.

    Although by the sound of it, it's lag city in there...

    Had a load of bounties on my chars last night - got the titan to rank 2, hunter to 2.5 (a few games on each) and my warlock to 1.5 without playing a game.

    Got top score on my Hunter in the first game with them which pinged the weekly bounty (had rank 4 and kill steak done from last time).

    A productive IB night.

    I'm too OCD to play more than one character at a time.
    First Titan, then Warlock and then Hunter. May run the Hunter second this time but the Titan is always first......ALWAYS :)

    Haven't had much time for Destiny recently, but I see the "iron wreath sidearm" for IB is on the reward list. Need to make time to get that one

    was looking at the stats for one of my games last night.

    5 jade rabbit kills
    4 Iron Wreath kills.
    1 Machine Gun kill.
    3 Super Kills.

    NINE GRENADE KILLS. NINE. God bless the trip mine. And from memory two of my 'normal' kills were assisted by my own tripmine.

    I had a quick look at it yesterday and didn't think the perks on it were great. Although my check list is quite short.
    - Does it have range?
    - No

    Agree here - if a sidearm doesn' have rangefinder, i'm not interested. though I feel all sidearms are basically the same anyway. any one with the right perks will do. There is no archetype for them - all have the same impact and rate of fire. Differences come in mag size and reload, on base stats. Some would have better aim assist.

    It's only once you have used Rangefinder to a good degree of success that when you go back to without it, it's like "Wtf is this s**t?!?!"

    And here was Conovar going on and on and on about some New Peasantry one without Rangefinder back in the day until over time I brow beat him down

    No - I said the vendor roll Havoc Pigeon was better than the other vendor roll side arms available.

    I didnt say it was better than a god roll sidearm!

    I am full sure you rated the Vendor Conviction over the Vendor Havoc Pigeon and made some posts on the subject. Pity we post so much or it would be easy to find said posts.

    Ah right, that makes sense.

    Love the drop rates for the gear these days, already picked up the chest piece with a high int/dis roll aswell as the sidearm both with higher defence and attack values which helps my light level. Hope to pick up the gauntlets next and I'll be happy as I can only play up until Saturday and won't get to level 5 by then.

    Struggled with IB this time for some reason. Got the Titan to 5 and said that's it. Got the Hunter to 5 and called it. Lying on the sofa staring at the ceiling and not wanting to play IB but did and got the Warlock to 5.
    Funny though when playing it I was enjoying it.
    All characters jumped a LL to 334. Got a pretty nice Ironwreath

    This was the least I have played Iron Banner in a long time. Got all three to rank 5 and got nothing of use in any of the packages. Got a sweet Iron Wreath drop though, so happy enough.

    Wins Games Kills Assists Deaths K/d Ka/d Victory
    21 37 541 181 311 1.74 2.32 56.76%

    Though having some left over bounties (including a couple of weeklies) i got my Warlock to Rank 5 in 6 games!

    About 1/2 my kills came from grenades and sidearms. Fusion grenades are ridiculous.
