We are sick people. I don't even have a plan for next week, but already excited about Burnley players.

Now to get the team sheets we want to see :)

I can't see Boyd being the 4.5 he was last season. He'll be 5.5 I'd think.

This exactly. He was only so cheap last year as he moved to Burnley from Hull after prices were set and went from a squad player to a nailed on starter.

He's never gonna be more than 5th mid material either so will be effectively useless FPL wise at least at the start.

None of us will own him from the start of next season.

Ye won 1 0 delighted. Boyd gray Heaton and Keane are the 4 players for the watchlist.

    That's not all, Vokes :)

He wasn't great this season either. I'd be hoping for an upgrade in the wide positions. So would expect either boyd or arfield to be benched. I'd say the other hero duff will retire. Lost his place the 2nd half of this season. Heaton will defo be my keeper and gray one of my strikers.

Moved this reply from the transfer thread.
there was a discussion in another thread about mistakes made. I think a lot of us made a mistake taking numerous hits for spurs players last Gw. I had kane but took hits for both alli and dier. There was definetly no need to make both of those moves. Its hard not to let what happens in the previous gw (spurs won 4 0) cloud your judgement when making transfers.

Ah there was an element of bad luck there too especially with Alli. And fear given the damage Alli did to many who had gone without since WC. When you sell a guy who promptly get 22 points in 2 weeks sometimes you have to admit it was a mistake.

I got Alli back when i fancied a punt on Mane but it was probably the 'right' decision. A 'punch' and a hattrick later and its cost 20+ points.

On the discussion about mistakes/things going against you one thing thats been painful is how so many of the close calls (like that one) that have been excessively heavily punished very quickly.

It's a different a animal now with the League over plus a dgw on offer, selling Kane is a fair punt to make.

true it didnt work out well but lets say spurs win the gw 34 game 2 1 and alli doesnt score our gw 35 transfers would have been a lot different. I know I made my moves in 35 out of fear when the logical move for me was to hold payet and not get alli as I already had kane as the player I was going to captain in 35 and would have been able to field a 4 4 2.

I don’t think it was a mistake, Spurs had the best goals for and goals against and were playing WBA and Chelsea who had both been cut apart the week before. Maybe a bit kneejerk but I also did it as a blocker move after making big gains in the DGW. Not the way I like to play the game and it obviously hasn't worked out, but I'm still developing my end of season ML tactics as a junior hardcore player

I don't think calling them mistakes is the correct way to go when analysing one's transfers.
It's been mentioned already that sticking with a December template squad would have outperformed most others for the next 3 months.
My general feeling would be I messed about a lot on defensive transfers.
Patience with players worked. This is a bit simplistic perhaps.

when factoring in hits for those not on wildcard and knowing that this fixture was coming and you would more than likely be getting him back. Id question why a lot of us moved from alli to the likes of bolasie and lennon in the first place. As soon as I got in bolasie for a -4 I felt Id made a mistake. I could see the logic in selling kane as he was so expensive and people needed the funds.

Oh I made more than a few mistakes on WC. Set my stance early that I would get 15 DGWers and stuck to it to my detriment. I knew double Arsenal defence was the way to go but I had to have expensive dross like Dann and Barkley so ended up with Gabriel who got dropped as expected when things went bad. I've actually gotten quite lucky that Mahrez only had one return since I dumped in GW32, Vardy red, Ozil one return, KDB and Liverpool mids rested. But I still get hung up on moves that I didn't do like Bolasie to Townsend -4 GW34 or Alli over Tadic and think I should be higher up.

Even Robles Mum wouldn't have him on the list of captain possibilities!

Tricky one. Will Leicester be looking to have a party or will they be on holiday? Will Mahrez and Vardy get take off early to get a standing ovation? Will the shackles get taken off now the title is over? Lots of questions about both but I would be much more confident about game time for Kane.

Migs or Darlow? DGW or AV.....?!?!?

Bookies say Liverpool have better CS odds (with two games) but Migs not guaranteed to play both. Darlow has AV.....

Not great options tbh. Villa, despite being muck, have started scoring again so I wouldn't be surprised if they put one past Newcastle. But then Migs isn't guaranteed game time.

At the same time spurs are missing a few.. Harry's played a lot of ball lately AND Everton are rubbish at the back ha ha

Dembele certainly seems to have been an important part of the puzzle for Kane goals and if we're going to see a silly 8 goal end of season special Leicester and Everton look the sort of teams to do it.

Jose Enrique released by Liverpool. He was once part of a great DGW where I returned 127 points or something crazy when Liverpool destroyed Swansea.
