What is an EC coil head

Picked up an istick pico yesterday. It comes with EC coil heads. What is EC, is the kanthal, NI200, titanium, SS, struggling to get information on it, thanks

Not sure what it stands for, ecco cotton or something? But they are just kanthal, use them in standard wattage mode. You can get Ti/Ni coils, they will usually have different colour o-rings, normally red for Ti and blue for Ni. And SS coils usually have black o-rings.

Good news is that you can use Atlantis, triton, iJust and Herakles 1 coils in the Melo too, so plenty of options out there.
