I'm trying to figure this one out. Can I cast my phone screen to my TV through my horizon TV/WIFI box?
Surely there is a way to do it without having to buy dongles here and there.

My phone is always connected to my home wifi all in one horizon TV Phone WIFI set box.

Is there a magic setting somewhere in the horizon box that will allow this?

You need a chromecast or similar.

Some TVs have Miracast functionality built in (so no need for a dongle) - my 3 year old Sony does, whatt kind of TV do you have?

Chromecast is superb & not expensive.

I have a Toshiba full HD 42", There is no wifi or Bluetooth built into my tv. It's all through the box. Surprised there isn't a way to do this with what I have.

+1 for the Chromecast, a great little device, and inexpensive too

Looking for the opposite to the above.
I have an lg smart TV and would like to cast its screen to an android box connected to a 'non smart' tv, if that is even possible or if there is a cabling option that is simple and inexpensive. Thanks in advance for any help

Not possible unless you want to setup a camera on a tripod in front of it.
