I think its 20 hours it might be less, but if you work 4 hours per day over 5 days then it gets a bit complicated. Give social a ring or look on welfare.ie website :D

    Part-time or casual work
If you get part-time or casual work (up to and including 3 days per week), you may still be paid a proportion of your Jobseeker's Allowance. However, you must show that you are trying to get full-time employment.

    http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/social_welfare/social_welfare_payments/unemployed_people/jobseekers_allowance.html

You can work up to a maximum of three days plus Sunday. If you work more than three days from Monday to Saturday (inclusive) you will not be eligible to apply for a casual work Jobseekers payment.

i am in receipt of jobseekeers allowance at the moment and work 3 days a wek..i.e. friday, saturday and monday...can i work another shift that includes friday night and saturday morning, starting at 10pm on friday night and finishing on saturday morning at 3am...will this affect my payment of which i receive for just working 3 days...i will be getting 50 euros for the extra 5 hours that i work...this will mean me working 3 days and including an extra 5 hours but on the same days as i have signed to work...

Sunday is now included as a day of work.

Be aware when calculating how many days a week you work that welfare base the week on which way your payment is made. example, Wednesday - Tuesday.

You will have to declare your extra earnings as jobseekers allowance is a means tested payment. Once you wont be doing 3x12 hour shifts then you should still be eligible for jsa once your extra income doesnt make you means in excess.

This is an old thread, you shouldn't necro dead threads.

The answer was already posted above, theres no daily limit, its weekly and the numbers of days.
