I have an Uncle who, if you threw away the entire roast Christmas Turkey, would be perfectly happy as long as you saved the tail for him.

I had a near miss this evening due to an unannounced visit to the yard from OH's extended UK cousins and their excited screaming children frown.png. I was in a shed filling meal troughs for 54 twelve week old calves when they stampeded and decided to dance all over me.
I'm all aches and pains and know that in the morning I'm going to feel even worse and will need the 50b to get me outta the bed
Maybe I should have been a vegetable farmer :)

Was it the kids shouting that startled them ? I often leave the radio on in the shed and find the cattle don't mind strange noises as much after it .
Hope you're not too stiff today !

Unfortunately not, I did enough gallivanting during the week. Also have my eye on a cow that goes homicidal round calving, Dad has a selective memory of her temper so I will probably have to lock him in the house once she's got two feet out. Or maybe I'll give him the Easter eggs and tell him to go mad. :pac::D

Sad story of a farmer, who was jailed over his protests about his farm being repossessed, committing suicide. My sympathies to the family involved:(
