Not yet. Should we make it a rule of thumb though that if you check out the thread you've watched the episodes?

Or are we labelling things with spoilers?

I think last year we made any posts on the day after (so, Tuesday) spoiler tagged if they discussed specifics, but after that it was fine to post un-spoiler tagged.

I know other sites have different rules, such as if you check the thread the second after the episode airs (and you haven't seen it) it's your fault if you read a spoiler. We could be a little nicer on here I suppose!

Reddit have a sub just for the links to the episodes and Untucked and they are up pretty quickly after broadcast and are usually in HD and uncensored, so just an alternative option there for people instead of the amount of false streaming links out there and risks of viruses etc.

I am waiting until I get home from work to download and will get some snacks ready and a shower before sitting down to see if she done already done had herses.

Just watched it this morning.

- How in the world did Robbie not get bottom two for that horrendous dress? Even Shangela's lampshade skirt was better than that!
- Funnily enough, the very first Drag Race elimination was another pageant queen who said it was her first time making a dress. History repeats itself in the 100th episode!
- Chi Chi really turned it out with that disco outfit.
- Cynthia still drives me up the wall. Please go home soon.
- Bianca not being around for the mini-challenge was sad. I can only imagine how much she'd have cut down the less polite queens.

And Untucked just went up, so there's my evening sorted.

Big fan of the show. Binged all the seasons about six months ago, and have tickets for BoTS.

Early favourites for this season are Thorgy, Kim, and Bob. Already like this season's queens more than last season's. I think it should be a good one!

That first episode was better than most of Season 7. I also like all the queens, so it will be interesting to see how the edit will portray them to the audience and who will eventually get a shady edit.

Haven't watched Untucked yet but I don't like the new format for them and the fact that it is censored. The combo of both puts me off watching, let alone the fact they are trying to push the crew as their own mini-stars of the show by giving them lines and camera time. Who gives a shít about them?!

I love

Laila McQueen and she got such a raw deal being in the bottom two. We saw her take a decent photo after her awkward seated one and they still use the seated one? That jacket was phenomenal and if she had done anything with the bottom she'd have been read for being "too busy." If they send her home early in the season I'll be pissed.

Other than that Naomi is gorgeous and Kim Chi is fab. Excited for the season in general.

I really like all of the queens this season and they've done a really good job at casting. There doesn't seem to be the clash of last year with the older experienced queens vs the young newer queens which I thought was bs.

Robbie and Acid Betty seem to be the shady queens going by their edits but even that is played more for comedy. I think after the criticisms of last season they will try focus on the fun this year. I loved how we got a lot more workroom banter between the girls.

Really liking Kim Chi, Bob and Chi Chi. LOVED Robbie completely shading Sharon Needles in the photo shoot. I'm liking all the throwbacks to previous contestants too. Not getting into spoiler territory but I think the right queen left but I wouldn't have put the other girl in the bottom. Haven't seen Untucked yet so there's that to look forward too.

Does anyone watch Afterbuzz Tv on YouTube? They do after shows for different tv shows and I always like watching the Drag Race one. Its just a little extra outlet to talk about Drag Race and hear other opinions. It's great for me because literally none of my friends watch Drag Race and have told me numerous times to shut up about it. I don't even realise how much drag queen vernacular I use on a daily basis these days until one of them gives me a confused look if I say "sickening" or something.

Yes, this years first elimination was a bit sad, but I am nowhere near as irate as I was last year when that utter waste of skin Kandy Ho sent the lovely Tempest du Jour home

It's an absolute cracker - more fun than any of last years - and it's only episode 1.

There is also the ten minute teaser on the logo tv website for next weeks episode. The claws are coming out big time!

I'm glad that Leila stayed, the jacket alone has me excited on her comeback.

Loving Bob and Chi Chi, and also Kim. Also surprisingly liking Thorgy. The challenge was def. back to what they do best, showcasing some talent and some fun. I'm cringing at how serious last year's episode 1 took itself.

Still undecided on Robbie or Betty. Hopefully Robbie can pull off something less tragic, and that Betty isn't going to be a Detox carbon copy.

Like, with Thorgy I'm not that interested in her drag. There's nothing particularly intriguing about her style, but my God, I want to be her friend so bad.

I think the general vibe I was getting from some sites was that Bob was gonna be the run away star of this season and favourite to win etc., but nothing I've seen so far has made me see what others have (though they have seen him perform in person before the show).

Then again, it is only the first week so I'm not making any snap decisions on anyone yet. I like everyone really.

Interesting that the second episode is 90 mins again like the first episode.

My takeaway from episode 2:

- What a challenge and what an ending. This really is fantastic television.
- The queens this season are *so good*. Strong personalities, strong talent and still a strong sense of community beyond the shading. Best lineup for a Drag Race season?
- Dax and Laila were screwed from the moment they were called as bottom two. The hushed conversation beforehand, the fact that they chose an upbeat drag fan favourite for the bottom two in a *dancing challenge*, the phone call afterwards? Yeah, there was no way either of them were meant to come out of this.
- YASSS SHANGELA'S BACK
- How shady was that exit? Every queen gets an inspirational "you are a fierce queen and the world is waiting to be blown away by your talent" exit, but with these it was just "BYE FELICIA".

Speculation for episode 3:

I'm calling Skarlet Starlet as next week's fresh fish. It would make sense, what with the convenient absence and her lightning-fast denial.

Wow. Last nights episode was better than the entirety of Season 7.

Next week should be another fantastic episode. They really have got this season spot on so far. This episode is the reason I love this show

It's a three way at the moment for Ms Congenialty between Cynthia; Thorgy and Kim. I think if either of Kim or Thorgy don't make top 3 or four they'll take it but if they do then maybe Cynthia.

Top 3 for me would be Thorgy, Chi Chi and Bob. Kim will get the Katya edit and to be honest I'm okay for that. Past seasons show you don't need to win to make it.

It could be Naysha but I'm not too sure on that. I really don't like bringing eliminated queens back and it's very early to be doing that right now. But again, I found Dax! and McQueen were a bit like early elimination fodder anyway...

As an aside, read a few pieces were people actually thought Dax! was going to be top 3. LOL!

I think in any other year Dax would have made it a lot further. This year, with the bar so high, she stood out for not standing out. Laila was also someone who never really hit their stride. Also taking your dress off in a lipsynch............no!

I'm not sure how next week is going to go down. There's a big part of me that really wants Shangela to jump out of a box again but maybe it's someone else. I like the idea of Bianca returning to whip them into shape as like a bootcamp mini challenge of something.

People are suggesting Katya but I'm sure she's going to be on All Stars 2 so it's unlikely

That's true. I think since Phi Phi and her cosplay came into the fray there's a lot more focus on this. It's not as "shock factor" as could have been a few seasons ago. Kim and Dax! fit the same niche, only Kim is (at least on the show) so much better.

I do feel a little bit annoyed over their exit though. I know if I was built up so much to be on the show to be out in that manner...I don't know. It felt a bit unfair. I think as Naysha said, by being eliminated so early you run the risk of being unemployed! So to be sent home without even a little homage is a bit miffy?

I know Laila is pissed just because they had filmed a goodbye with Ru etc. but it just showed them leaving the stage as if they blanked the judges and stormed away so they looked to be petty.
Shady editing altogether when you think that there were no confessionals about the lip sync at all and we just got weird looks from Ru/Michelle to make the lip sync seem worse (can only imagine that the confessionals were somewhat positive because if they were negative then they could have put them in).

Hi Pad e. Sorry - episode 1 was open and it seems episode 2 is geo blocked. crappy.
