Smart or not??

    Hi,old tv of 10years has given up the ghost. Need something to replace it and Ive seen 2 Samsungs I like,reviews on both are great and Im looking for opinion on better buy. Models are Samsung UE48J5100 non smart and Samsung UE48J5500. Not much difference to look at and about 80 euro in difference,Ive no experience with a smart tv and from what Ive read Chromecast turns a tv into smart anyway. Ive read horror stories about smart tvs so Im wondering what model you'd advise. Any help or advice much appreciated,thks

    The Samsung UE48J5500 is great. I owned one although i had to sell it when i was relocating for fear of transportation inconveniences. Feel confident to purchase it.
