Yesterday, my Windows 10 desktop went through a big update.

It took over an hour and involved numerous Restarts.

When the update was complete, neither my wireless mouse nor wireless keyboard would work.

    These are they........ http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/dinovo-media-desktop-laser

In Devices and Printers, the Logitech Mini-Receiver is showing an error.

If I run the Troubleshooter, it says, "There is a problem with the driver for Broadcom Bluetooth 3.0 USB. Reinstalling the driver might fix this problem."

Needless to say, when I "Apply this fix" and restart, the problem isn't fixed.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks.

Ps. The computer is set to install updates automatically late at night. So, it should be fully up to date now.

Go to Device Manager and remove all instances of keyboard/mouse and then restart. Hopefully windows will re-install the drivers correctly.

    Thanks.

    Before I do this.......

All I can see is the Logitech Receiver (not working, obviously) and the USB mouse.

There is nothing listed for wireless mouse or keyboard.

Should I just remove the receiver and reboot, and then reinstall?

I don't need to remove the USB mouse also, do I?

    Thanks again.

For the record, I removed the Logitech Receiver and rebooted.

    I then re-attached it.

After a minute, it reappeared in Devices, but still with the driver error.

    Not good.

Whatever about the mouse, I need the keyboard too.

Wonder if Logitech are a bit behind in the driver stakes after the recent Windows 10 update?

    Nah,

What's happening here is Windows is plonking its own (wrong) driver from Windows update on top of the one that already exists...

First you need to go to device manager, and delete all the Logitech drivers you see, right click and uninstall....

Then Google the exact keyboard model number, find the windows 7 or 8 driver, download the exe file, right click it, hit compatibility and run it in Windows 7 mode and it should sort it...

You may then have to go back to Windows update, then right click the drivers and tell it to not update them drivers automatically, or you will have the same problem over and over....

    Thanks.

I've gone looking for anything that says "Logitech" in C:/Windows/System 32 and there's nothing there.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

Also, I went to Windows Update and there were updates, which I installed. I then removed and reinstalled the Logitech Receiver. Still getting the driver error.

    Thanks again.

I think you are in wrong place...

You don't need to go all the way into the folders to manually remove it, device manager should be sufficient for it, have a look at this video it may help:

Guys, (well, I presume it's "Guys"!)

    Thanks a million!

    You were right.

I uninstalled the software and ran it in Windows 7 Compatibility Mode.

    It installed without a hitch.

    Thanks again.
