I'm basically hanging out on Amazon today...

    Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. (Nintendo 3DS/2DS)
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00PDRZG9U
    £5 before delivery.

I got a leaflet through the door yesterday. It was for Addresspal.

    https://addresspal.anpost.ie/

They're cheaper than Parcel Motel, €3.50 per delivery. They work on the same principle, except your package is delivered to your chosen post office. I haven't used them before but may do in the future as my post office is far closer than the nearest PM depot. However, the 1 advantage that PM does have is that you can collect at any time of the day. This Addresspal service might be a workaround to how Nintendo won't deliver to the PM address or for Ebay sites that charge an arm and a leg for postage. Maybe you all know about this before now but it's news to me.

Bayonetta 2 solus version is £9.85 on Shopto.net plus £3 for postage(€16.50 total when converted).

    http://www.shopto.net/video-games/wiiu/WIIUBA03-bayonetta-2

Move fast as I expect it to sell out quickly.

I got to books don't there recently. Books Bing much cheaper to post to Uk and add in the €3.50.
The mammy collected them and was only charges €2 for both.
If you can get someone to collect them for you, I think it's a good service.

I wonder if at some point we'll see lockers being put up outside all our post offices, if you could collect any time that would be a great service.

I'd love it if they offered EU addresses.
Some of the prices in Germany/France/Spain are unreal. If you could deliver a few items to an address and then forward it would be a great service.

Parcel Motel have said they would never do it. I asked.
Parcel Wizard said that it was something they would look at.

For example - Guitar Hero is €39.99 on Amazon ES, Metal Mario Fight Pad is €14.74 on Amazon FR and there are tons of excellent prices in local stores that do deliver.

On April 15th on Wii U

New Super Mario Bros U & Luigi U
    Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze
    Wii Party U
The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD
    Lego City: Undercover

Will all be reduced to €24.99 in-store and on the e-shop as part of the Nintendo Selects range.

    Wow! Some great value there.

They're all great value except Wii Party U. If anything that's had a price hike. And New Super Mario Bros U & Luigi U, it's the first time that's been sold separately from the console bundle.

Yes, good point! Wii U Party can be bought for less. But it's a decent price for Zelda, Donkey Kong and especially the Mario & Luigi bundle. I might buy a couple on the e-store. Always have them then.

Will be picking up Donkey Kong at that price. With that and Star Fox coming out soon, I might not bother with getting Twilight Princess.

I'll definitely get Lego City from that lot.
I wonder will the combination pack of Mario and Luigi cause a price drop for the stand alone Luigi U game?
Also, will they provide the requisite anti-psychotic medication you'll need to play it? 50mg of Chlorpromazine PO, tid?

Cex in Stillorgan have lots of copies of Bayonetta 2 for €25. The boxes all appeared to be new so I brought up some old stuff I had lying around and traded it in. I ended up only having to pay €6.50 for Bayonetta 2 and it's definitely brand new. Delighted!

Should be fine for games, the oversize charge is the only bad with it imo.

Not sure how this price compares to online shops but Argos have Xenoblade Chronicles Wii-U down to €34.99 - http://checkargos.com/product/5018602.

Guess I'm gonna get Wind Waker HD for that price! very hard to pass up on imo.

Yep, thanks. I know them and one or two others, but I meant one service across Europe would be cool.

Although, they are pretty good, and not too pricey either.

Delighted with those Select prices. Had offers on adverts for Donkey Kong and Lego that weren't accepted, both a fair bit over the Select price. Happy Camper.

What does "in store" mean? Does it mean Gamestop etc will be selling them for that price?

Suppose it's handier to get them on the e-shop.

Smyths? Yes at €24.99. In Gamestop? Prob around the €30 to €35 mark.

Nice one! I just assumed they were e-shop prices only. Will definitely get the disc version of Tropical Freeze at that price.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 804 ✭✭✭EJ22

Dang I thought it was e shop only as well, guess I'll pick up the disc version instead

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,034 ✭✭✭budgemook

And there shouldn't be supply issue in Smyth's, should there?

Are the Lego City loading times better if you download it?
