If I had to pick one food to eat for the rest of time I would pick mushrooms.

When a song on the radio comes on and fits the conversation you're having. It makes me cringe!

Example: My mother was talking to me in the car one morning, about something rather sad/depressing. As she was talking to me about this, the radio decided to play 'Stay' by Shakespears Sister. Mum, turn off that radio now you're making this conversation awkward as shít.

It's also a TA when a song comes on that contradicts the mood you're in!

Example: I had an argument with my GF in the car one day - it was trivial (ha!) - and after the tiff was over we both sulked in silence. What comes on the radio? "Don't Worry Be Happy".

    Oh fcuk off!

(I seem to only listen to the radio in the car... :P)

    ---

Update: Just ran into one right this second.

I'm in the library. And there's a lad sitting 2 seats away from me and I can smell his wretched breath! How does one's breath travel to the left side of them, that distance? It won't go away! :(

It's my first time in this job that I've been asked to come in for a half day. Nice.

    But no.

My team are supposed to be in at 6.30 and everyone else for 7am
But at 7.35 some people were still rolling in... "Ah sure, we've plenty of time... We're on a half day"
And everything has followed that pattern all day... Everyone so laid back and pottering around that now it's 10.40 and we are at least 2 hours behind where we'd be on a normal day... Instead of out at 1, it's looking more like 3.

Half days are supposed to be off the end of the day... Not the start of it.

A kid in my class had no lunch today (not the first time either) so I gave her mine. Now I'm starving and will have to eat Haribo until 3 when I can get some proper food!

Why can't people here pick up their dog sh1t??

Was whizzing down the cycle lane on my bike and I suddenly saw a huge steaming pile of dog poo. There was someone coming the other way so I couldn't swerve and had to cycle right through it. Now both wheels are a lovely shade of yellowish brown.

Thanks a mil dog owner.

There's probably some on the back of your jacket as well....

I was really tired last night and just before I bed I remembered lunch for today. I REALLY didn't want to make it but I did anyway, toasting the pitta, waiting for it to cool, cutting the cheese, placing the salami, rocket and some lovely sundried tomatoes into the pocket blah, blah. And then I left it at home this morning. And now I have to spend money I don't have on food that no matter how good it tastes is going to make me feel guilty for leaving my pitta at home

When you are so sleep deprived you get off the train 2 stops early and gotta wait an hour for next one.

There's a woman in the public eye that I want to dislike. I've never met her, but I grew up around the corner from her now husband and he and his family did me a serious wrong about two decades ago (forgive and forget, you say? Bollocks to that, says I). Now she crops up on telly from time to time and I really want to include her in the antipathy.

Unfortunately, she's competent at her job, seems personable, when she was wrong on an issue she admitted it and moved position. So, apart from her lousy taste in men, I have no reason for the hate. Very TA.

Have you considered suing somebody/everybody/the council/OPW for €35,000? (Although I'm not too sure what the going rate is for dog excrement...)

Hearing a story about a child in my class that makes me want to throw up but not being able to do anything about it. It's not a TA really, it actually kills me :(

Are future things that will annoy me allowed??

Give it 3/6 months.. Top Man/River Island have lead times..
All the tossers with their dickey bows, cheap skinny three piece suits and beards will be sporting Double Breasted suits ala McGregor last Sat night.

They will annoy me and that is totally trivial.

    The future is here... now!!

    Plenty of them about.

TA that I never bothered to book the Friday after St Patricks Day off work.
Seems like I'm going to be the only one in the office!
    Ah well...

The sound of an engine idling. It's the one noise that really irritates my ear drums and makes them vibrate like crazy. Some eejit has been outside with their engine running for the past 50 minutes now. Turn it off or f*ck off!

Worse is when they're there to pick up someone and they give a couple of blasts with their horn.

Knowing that if I leave the office now, it'll take about an hour to get home.

Worse again when the person doesn't hear them so they give it a few more blasts, followed by a shout or two.

Also I was looking forward to my payslip this week due to an unexpected "lucrative" occurence;) OMG what I saw made a bad day much worse, taxed so much I might as well have sat on my arse watching Jeremy Kyle, why do we bother doing so much more for so little gain.
