6/6 3 perfects, gutted I missed the first few fights.

If you picked like you did for those 6 you probably only would have got Teymur other two were upsets imo.

Decent night considering I missed the first three fights.

Would have got 2/3 of the ones I missed, I would have picked teymur and packalen, which would have put me near the top :(

That would have been a pretty decent night! 3100 from Axwell is something else though you would have needed two perfects to top that I think.

Great night of fights last night and a main event that will go down in history surely.

Congrats to last nights winner Axwell. He was one of 3 players with a very with a very impressive 11 correct picks but it was the perfects and bonuses that clinched it for him.

    Our first bi-monthly winner is:

    Brussels Sprout

Good job. Takes more than luck to be consistently good.

    ufc-belt.jpg

He's well up there for almost every event and if he had as many perfects as some of the rest in the top 5 he'd be even farther out in front.

Next bi-monthly period (Mar/Apr) kicks off next weekend with UFC 196. Apparently there's some Irish lad fighting in the main event and from what I hear he's quite good. Get your picks in and as always ''DONT FORGET TO CLICK SAVE'' ;-)

    Yay!

Was a bit worried that jimmii was gonna catch me as he had a bit of momentum going after last week but delighted with my 11/13 from last night.

Some people say that you're not a true champion until you've had a successful title defence, so I will of course be back to reclaim my digital belt in the next bi-monthly contest. Seems like a lot of people joined late in this period so now everyone's got a fair crack at it from the same starting point. Bring it on!

(And thank's to John_D80 and ASOT for starting this up and all the reminders)

Sorry lads, bit late to reply. Red Panty night at Axwell's last night after receiving the win! :D

Was a close one at the top and a lot of people had a good number of correct picks so the bonus and perfects made the difference. Had some awful picks in the last 2 events so good to get things on track - even if still have plenty of catching up to do!

Good to see so many taking part this time too, going to be a long year. Cheers to the lads for setting it up too.

Right im off to listen to Joe Esposito on repeat till next weekend!

Usual lads get you picks in, I'd do them early incase you end up going out, get caught up in the festivities etc

Happened to me for the Mendes fight I ended up doing my picks while I was out, pain in the hole.

I have less for this than any other event before! I was actually worried about how few I had but just the way I see it going lots of finishers out tonight but lots of quite close fights so I think it's going to be very unpredictable.

They have actually done a reasonable job of making it use able on a phone thankfully but does make it a pain in the hole if you want to try look stuff up.

Yup, lot of really tight matchups tonight on paper anyway. Thats why I ended up with a lot of decisions I think.

But seeing as I have less ''perfects'' than anyone in the top half of the table (and you have most) i'm probably waaaaay off again!

Thinking Schevchenko could edge Nunes by decision, and I'll go Latifi by KO some tough fights to call alright.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,781 ✭✭✭ASOT

Personally found this the easiest card to call in a while bar the MOV, decided to do most of my picks during the weigh ins looking at each fighter then looking through there records/stays, made a big difference. Swayed me off certain fighters.

I'm pretty much on a wing and a prayer with this one .

I was on top in January. I regret not shouting about this more at the time.

Have a good feeling about tonight....:)

You don't know what you're missing with FPL (Fantasy Soccer) :P Today was madness between missed penalties and late goals by popular players:D

Anyway apologies back on topic. Have Holm by decision in the co main and McGregor R2 KO:)

Haha. Played with my mates a few years ago and once or twice in work. Not a soccer fan, just did it for the craic. Just did it to try garner some sort of interest if watching the matches with the lads.

Fight pass prelims now, lets go :D

It adds a bit to some of the fights alright. As Stephen says its no FPL though!

The boards forum did insanely well in FPL today hopefully its the same in Pick 'em!
