    Those anti-stress/relaxation colouring books.

They're great til I'm around 80% through a picture, very soothing and distracting ... then I end up hating the picture and the activity itself and the colours I've chosen, but at that stage I just have to stick it out to the end anyways and can't stop til I'm finished it!

I keep waking up feeling like shít. It's like low level nausea every single morning. Even more TA is that I am drinking an awful lot less than I used to - max two night a week, yet still feel like this. I was expecting to feel amazing and cartwheel out of bed each day :(

    Withdrawals?

Perhaps it's not trivial, but, why the hell does it always seem that when in a relationship people seem to hit on you more often than single? Do I just keep convincing myself that women are flirting with me more when I have a girlfriend? Am I secreting some weird hormones or something? What is it and why won't it stop!?

Wait until you get married and wear a ring. Some girls seem to think of it as a challenge!

All good here, just sitting here wondering how many ways I can hurt myself with the desk phone.....these are the wonderful kind of thoughts that my days consist of!

I was sitting in a meeting with about 10 colleagues earlier and we all had laptops with us, at one stage I looked around and noticed that compared to everyone else, my laptop was absolutely filthy with transferred make-up and finger marks

Now I'm not normally annoyed with my self for being a dirt-bird - to be honest it's a badge of honour if the circumstances are right :p - but a physically dirty laptop bird - No thanks.

I have spent the last 10 minutes scrubbing the laptop with wipes and it's pristine again, but now I'm TA'd that my colleagues won't see it nice and shiny and clean. May have to walk around the office with it for the afternoon......

Ah too much water can cause nausea.. ease off a little.. or add something sweet to it. Washes all the nutrients out... Been there done that..

This thread has gotten too bloggy lately.
This thread has some some borderline medical/health advice creeping into it.

This is a place to list your annoyances rather that blog what you are doing day to day and chatting about it. Chat threads are not allowed in AH.
Lets keep the the 'TA's', for example, that Boom_Bap is a stickler for the rulez.

Finally, I knew a classical education would come in handy eventually.
Alexander the Great travelled far and wide in his many conquests, through Mesopotamia, Parthia, Bucephala and as far as the Himalaya at one point

Sometime around 330 BC he opined that you need to keep one hand free in the jungle, in order to wield a Kopis (similar to a modern day machete).

Obviously all that jungle clearing was extremely physically taxing, requiring rehydration and a lot of fatty snacks.
The men became quite attached to their Kopis and were loathe to put it down, this then ruled out Alexander's personal favourite snack - King cheese and onion crisps.
So, while in the jungle of Margiana, Alexander was forced to find a local alternative - a local witch doctor suggested the Lion bar.

Therefore, in his own inimitable style, he declared - the lion is the king in the jungle. This is often misquoted as - the lion is the king of the jungle
