My 4yr old is wired to the moon today, and every time I turn the dog is standing there under my feet. It's too wet to put either of them outside :(

Ah they have so much energy at that age. I know a little girl who's mam used to put her in the bath for a few hours when she got a bit wired. Only thing is then you are also in the bathroom for a few hours :)

Election posters on lamposts. And the leaflets put through the letterbox. We have a no junk mail sticker on the letterbox and the sneaky feckers have started to address them to us so An Post has to deliver them.

Guy in front of me for a 4hour train journey sounded like he was coughing up a lung every few minutes.
I do feel sorry for him, he clearly had a really horrible flu/fever but I breathed the same air for 4 hours - place your bets I will be sick before Monday.

I put mine into the bath and go chill on my bed for a few mins. I get them to sing so I know they haven't drowned! Has worked so far!!

Today everything annoys me. My tolerance for other people has reached the bottom. I would like to head off some place. Where there are no people, no shops, no roads. Just me.
Ive been trying to word a post like this all day,I honestly want the world to stop and let me off:(You know when you are so upset about something/one and theres f all you can do about it,Im actually going from wanting to cry my eyes out all day to feeling such hatred for someone that Im just glued to the couch all day in a vegative state...somethings gotta give around here.

Carry on anyway and ignore my rant:pac:

I know it would defeat the purpose, but can I go? I'll sit down the other end and you won't get a peep out of me:)

I do indeed know that feeling. It's usually a case of a "someone" rather than a "something".
    Damn people :)

people who don't realise the brake lights are broken, or they don't care. on a short drive to a shop today (about 10k back and fourth) there's two cars, both less than 5 years old. WTF....

Pulling in to the petrol station to fill up with diesel, and ending up with your hands oily and covered in diesel. Are the stations that busy (particularly out in the sticks) that someone can't come out for a couple of minutes every half hour or so with a soapy rag or some degreasing detergent and clean the pump handles. And of course, there's hardly ever any paper towels in the rare dispenser you come across.

Petrol/Diesel pumps are pure mank. I always keep a packet of wet wipes in the car for that reason.

I have a roll of paper towel in mine, but the wet wipes are actually a good idea.

Claire McNamara- the one who reads the sport on RTE news? Jesus what a miserable little sourpuss. I have never ONCE seen her crack what even would remotely resemble a smile. At least the other presenters can show some humour when needed but she literally has a face like a slapped arse and has done now for many years, Its like she doesn't even want to be there. Well fcuk off then and do a job which makes you happy if your job annoys you that much.

Everytime they hand over to her for the sports update, a cloud of doom and gloom descends on every living room in Ireland. Time for her P45 methinks.:mad::mad:

I keep a box of disposable gloves in the car. They are handy both at petrol pumps and in case I have to deal with a flat tyre.

[EDIT - I just realised... gloves... handy... :pac: Never mind, I'll get my coat...]

I hate those spammy ads on facebook that advertise a fake designer sunglasses website that has "an amazing 80% discount" offer. It's usually a photo that has about 50 people tagged in it and has been posted by a hacked account. These hacked accounts are usually ones that have not been logged into in a while - twice I have seen these spammy posts on the profiles of people who have passed away. Horrible. I report any hacked profiles I come across but another one usually surfaces after a while.

I was cooking dinner today and three out of the four rings on the hob were turned on. I had the plastic spatula on the ring that I thought was not on. After a while I could smell something burning and I assumed it was the cheesy sauce I was making. Then I realised I had the wrong ring on and the spatula was f*cked.

Ironing, ironing, ironing the bane of my existence. I only iron shirts for interviews, the trousers are fine once you hang them a certain way. I don't iron anything else. I'm self taught but I still have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I can't ask my mother for advice because she has a phobia of ironing so much so that she threw out the iron. Looks like I've developed that same fear. One of my shirts is easy to iron but the material is so light whatever you sweat goes straight through the fabric. :o So I've started wearing a different shirt but it's heavier material and doesn't iron as easily.

I noticed that too, quite a lot of newish cars with bulbs gone, front or back ones, odd!

I thought I was drinking quickly last night, then noticed that the Bulmers Berry (not apple) bottles are now 500ml not the same size as they were at Christmas 568ml but the price is same as the big bottle, WHY??
