    I know that if a timing chain breaks then it's not good news.
    I know if you put petrol in a diesel car it's grounds to end a relationship.
    I know that mini coopers seem to have indicators as optional extras.
    I know if you never put oil in the car the engine dies.
    I also know that you don't put as much air as you physically can into tyres and that gauges are there for a reason.

    When things are brand new, sure. But after a while, stuff seems to get damaged.
