Amateur drama groups in the city?

Very hard to find amateur drama groups in the city. Like the ones you would get in the country. Groups that meet up and do a play once a year kind of thing. Does such a thing exist around the town?

I know theres one out Ballincollig way run by a guy called Elton griffin - think its called Gunpowder productions - I only know of him as I am involved in MACRA NA FEIRME and he directed one of our plays

Macra na feirme do plays once a year also but already in progress so u would have to wait till next Jan.
