Was this the same guy who handed his "very big" diary to you? :-D

Im not sure that saying "Youve a small one" would be classed as playing hard to get maybe try "Youve a medium one ". Let me know how that goes:pac:

Walking down the street. Two men walking towards me with a dog. Not sure if it was a pitbull (no expert on breeds). Was a fairly muscular dog. No muzzle. No leash. Dog is running towards me. I'm nervous of dogs so I was getting worried. To be fair to the dog, he didn't come near me. He ran right past me. Didn't even look at me. Thank feck. Had to shoulder through the two dudes on the path as they stared and wouldn't give me room to pass. Brutes.

    Ignorant fuckers!!!

I'm new to the doing my grocery shopping online and its kind of sending me over the edge.

I made the decision to tip the delivery guy the first time he came thinking that was the norm. I've since been informed that it really wouldn't be the norm to tip them but now that I've started it I don't know how to stop. If I do stop, should I discuss it with him or just brazen it out?! Its usually the same guy each time. I'm shelling out close to €10 on tips each month which is mad!

Also, do you do a tidy before the delivery guy comes? With 3 kids and 3 dogs the house can get awfully messy at times and I find I am doing a clean up especially when the delivery guy comes which is not something I am interested in sustaining long term!

Also, do you help the guy unpack the stuff or let him do it? I help unpack but am not sure if I am stepping on his toes! I'll also go and lift one of the crates from outside the front door sometimes. To much input from me?!!

I think I'm just going to get myself one of those trolleys the grannies carry around and do my shopping myself as the etiquette around grocery shopping online is causing me sleepless nights!!!

My kids have a cup of milk and a carrot before bed each night - I know, I know, I really do spoil them!

Every evening without fail they moan and b*tch that one of them has a longer or wider carrot or more milk than the other. I am at the stage now where I am chopping and hacking at the carrots to ensure they are the same size and measuring out the milk in a measuring jug, just so I don't have to listen to the incessant whining about it.

And at least once a week one of the little f*kers spills their milk because they have picked up the cup with one hand while holding their carrot with the other, no matter how many times I tell them to use two hands.

I'm living the life here lads aren't I? I'd understand if you were all green with envy!! :D

Had a dream last night that I was cycling uphill through a stream with a strong current and now that i am awake, I'm exhausted. Even sleeping makes me tired

It's amazing how things in your dreams can translate into your 'real' life isn't it? Had a dream a while ago that I met some durty oul wan outside a nightclub, she brought me down an alleyway for the ride....woke up the next morn and I had a very itchy mickey.....

All the "wet dream" revelations on here today. TAd that mine was only wet because I was cycling through a stream :pac:

Never complain that your kids want more carrots or milk, plenty of parents out there who can't get their kids to eat any kind of veg :)

My 4 yr old is mad about fruit, but I can honestly say has never ever let a vegetable past her lips. She is so wily she sniffed veg out that I had blended into homemade pasta sauce. Nothing gets by that child. She recently told me she wants two tattoos. When I asked her what of, she said a skull and a carrot.

I just got a letter today from the Revenue customs and excise stating that my Familia Mari Mayans absinthe was seized in pursuant to Section 141 of the Finance Act 2001 on the grounds that said goods were liable to forfeiture under Section 125 of the Finance Act 2001. I don't really know what this means but I assumed I paid VAT when making the purchase. I paid 17.35 Euros for the absinthe itself, 27.83 Euros for the shipping zone 3 charge and and 7.84 Euros VAT. So what charge am I missing, is it just the matter of paying some more cash.

My friend is going on a plenty of fish date and because I am so reliably boring and doing nothing I have to sit by the phone in case she needs someone to create a family emergency...

One of these days I'll surprise everyone and actually get a life!

As far I know the onus to pay excise duties in the member state of the purchaser, in the case of distance selling, rests upon the vendor.

    http://www.revenue.ie/en/tax/excise/leaflets/pn1879.html

I would contact the vendor & demand a refund as he has obviously not met the requirements of distance selling re., excise duty in Ireland.

Forward all correspondence from revenue/customs to the vendor & if he has a problem initiate a charge-back on your card for non-receipt of goods.

As funny as it would be I'd never hear the end of it. This particular girl could talk for Ireland!

Plus on the off chance he is a psycho and does murder her I'd feel bad!

There will be no murder! Turn it off, get a drink and relax in front of the tv!
