Arsenal: Ospina, Chambers, Gabriel, Koscielny, Gibbs, Coquelin, Elneny, Iwobi, Alexis, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Giroud

Subs: Cech, Monreal, Bellerin, Arteta, Rosicky, Walcott, Campbell

Strong enough to do the business

Can't believe Coq is back already. Thought we'd be doing well to get him back before 2018.

    Good team, no excuses.

I'm liking that line-up a lot! Can't wait to see Elneny and Ramsey paired up as I have a gut feeling they'll work very well together however. Iwobi starts as well, pity I can't watch the game.

Elneny and Coquelin seems a bit conservative.

Thought Iwobi looked good when he came on before, looking forward to seeing how he gets on.

Don't think we'll win with that team though if I'm honest.

Really? Think its pretty strong. Iwobi the only non established player. Chambers a worry a right back too of course but there's a lot of quality in there.

Just think Burnely might want it more today but we've started well so what do I know.

Very quick off the mark there from Ospina regardless of offside

    Nice goal for Chambers there

What a finish who knew he had it in him

Would you want to sign Vardy based on one season?
We've had plenty of players over the years who were excellent for a while and then nothing. Coquelin's form came from nowhere which is why I'm concerned. Hopefully I'm wrong and he just needed to mature and improve his game reading and all that, I'm just open to the possibility that this may be a case of something that isn't at all rare and in that case we could end up pretty stuck.

I think Coq has always had potential though. It may have been more to do with temperament

He's getting forward quite a bit due to the fact Coq is behind him. Getting stuck in so far. Liking what I see

    Iwobi looks the real deal.

Been all us then we go and concede from loose play after a corner. Plus one of our lads actually injured another one. Gibbs did Coq by the looks of things. Ffs he better be ok

Too much messing around. Coquelin with a mistake when he came back on, looked like the kind of thing ya do when you're not up to speed.

Really annoying to hear our crowd is so poor at the game. Apparently the Burnley fans are making all the noise.
No wonder Burnley are getting on top

Poor stuff, the 2 CBs are clowns. Kos has been all over the place for a month or so.

Coq, Elneny and Ox giving possession away far too often. Poor enough so far. I'd like Rosicky to get a run.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 483 ✭✭DeclanRe

Also sick of the Ox shooting from 40 yards out, he's not Sanchez, he needs to realise that

Did you not see his recovery that set up a counter? Ospina was at fault there.

Coquelin is not sharp at all but delighted to see him back. Elnemy looks good and has put in a few good passes.

We were all over them, deserved lead and playing well, burnleys first meaningful attack - bit of ping pong in the box and a goal for them.

Such an arsenal thing to do.
