Think he stepped down the other day. Plays some incredible football with Chile but hasn't done anything outside south America really.

South America is fast intense football and some of the best players in the world are coming from there. I think he'd adapt football wise to UK. On a personal level, if he learns the language and gets the right group of players hed be a success. An Arsenal with Sanchez and Campbell would suit him better then a Chelsea with those tossers

Welbeck still couldn't finish his dinner and has a way worse first touch than Walcott.

The day Welbeck had a shot that wasn't on despite Alexis screaming for it at the far post v Liverpool last season. A great trier but no football brain

Against Liverpool where we went ahead? That's "giving up" before the game even starts?

Against Chelsea, Mertesacker's brainless red card ruined any chances.

Against United, we were 3-0 up within 20 minutes.

    Giving up

Against liverpool we drew and was 5mins away from winning. gave up

against chelsea, from teh first whistle blown we was **** .

against united? did u not read the bit where i said(in the past)

Tell me mr, How many times have we beaten united in the past 5 seasons?

    Sorry, you're way off base.

Against Liverpool, we were battered from the start. Didn't give up, got a lead, then they equalised at the end. That doesn't mean arsenal gave up.

Against Chelsea, the players showed plenty of fight when down to 10 men for most of the match.

I guess it's all about perspective!

You either are of a positive disposition, or you're of a negative disposition.

De Bruyne pretty much out for the season.

Re: giving up. We could do better of course and we can't be happy of the match against Chelsea but it's pretty disingenuous to ignore the improvement against the top teams in the last few years.

With Welbeck back I guess the options up front are

    Left : Sanchez
    Centre : Giroud and Walcott
Right : Campbell, Welbeck and Ox.

I am only talking about when players are fit as Sanchez plays 100% of the time so no other option needed.
Walcott will be a great bench option and he did do well early in the season when Giroud was rested.
Right side is Campbells to lose currently but would certainly expect Welbeck to be given a chance ahead of Ox.
Thats not even talking about where Rosicky comes in.

So looks like our injury list's down to 2.

    Santi and Wilshere.

Welbeck and Rosicky are back in training but don't think they are 100% match fit.

Coq could start or be on the bench against Burnley.

Have a feeling it's going to be El Neny's debut this Saturday

What's the story with all the double posts??

Isn't Jack back training next week? Any idea when Santi is due back? Think we've missed him more than most! And please don't say next December!!!

Coq and Rosicky both fit for the Burnley game. Great to have most of the team back :D
    Hopefully it pays off

Would Love Elneny to start, I know highlight videos are very flattering but he looks quality, has composure, good feet and seems to have a great passing range and isn't afraid to have a strike. Heard nothing but good things about him.

Pity Rosicky and the like probably don't have full match fitness, perfect game for them.

Rumours growing that we have signed Yarmolenko from Dynamo Kiev. If true, it's saying that he will join Arsenal in the Summer

    Brilliant signing if true.

Football in Ukraine has gone to the ****s for obvious reasons so wouldn't surprise me if he's pushing for a move.

Does anyone else worry when we hear that players are coming back from injury and we should be good now that its never mentioned that by law of averages we will also lose players to injury.

    ?

    ?

sorry probably didn't make it clear, its just Ive read a few posts saying its great with the players coming back we can get a run going or we should improve now (I'm paraphrasing). But the reality is for every Sanchez we get back we will lose a Bellerin.

No point worrying about it man, there's always that risk with any player, just have to hope we can keep players fit.

Nah. We seem to do better with injuries in the second half of the season.

But tbh I think Coq has been shown to be one of the most important players. There is some hope of being more solid again with him back.

The summer? Thats bollocks if true. We need players in before this window closes. Best chance of winning a lge (I seem to say this every year for the last 5 or 6 seasons) he surely has to bring in another attacking player. If we dont win a lge this season under Wenger we never will.

Yes it would be nice to have all the players now but football will continue whether or not we win the league in May

    It's probably all BS anyway!

Pissed off with our inactivity in this market. We have basically signed 2 players for a combined total of 17 million in 2 seasons now. How is that for ambition. Cant see Ozil or Alexis hanging around much longer, 2 world class players at there peak surrounded by headless chickens like Walcott and Oxlade Chamberlain. Wenger has to go if he doesnt strengthen this window and we fail to win the league, love the man but he is ruining his own legacy.
