Forget the title race for this weekend.

Let's just concentrate on giving these punks the beating they deserve. Same as United. 3 nil. No messing.

Alexis is gonna be absolutely bursting to go.

    COME ON!

Watching Sky Sports News. Seeing Wenger so pleased, happy and relaxed during his press conference is fantastic! It might have something to do with that p***k Mourinho being gone and Arsenal top of the table where we belong. :)

New TV fixtures have been announced. One particular highlight is the trip to Merseyside on Saturday morning after playing Barcelona in Spain on Wednesday night. Thanks BT sport!

Il never forget this game. I was in a bar surrounded by Manu fans and I nearly lost my sh1t when he scored

Me too, the Step Inn in Stepaside. They were all giving me fierce grief when Rooney scored, so Henry's winner was very very sweet.

Great to be in contention, looking forward to the match.
Will be interesting to see how Wenger tweaks the team, I hope he doesnt change players around and put them in positions that they havent been playing in regularly. Alexis has to fit back in but dont mess up the structure.

Chelsea might be near bottom but Wenger still has to ge the tactics right .
I dont think they are so bad that you can afford to chase them, you have to let them come onto you a bit and then break.

All the other contenders play Saturday so we will know what we need todo come Sunday.

That doesn't give us a long time to celebrate beating Barcelona

It's difficult to judge but the longer a player is out, the longer their recovery to match fitness seems to take.

Sanzhez may come in the last 20mins of the game

Sanzhez may come in the last 20mins of the game

Imagine you're a defender, clinging on to a hard fought point, tired after chasing nippy wingers and overlapping full backs, just trying to get to 90 mins without slipping up. Your team is having a nightmare season. You sacked the manager, but you're still struggling badly.

You've made it to 70 mins. This is hard, but it might be okay.

You look to the sideline, there's Alexis Sanchez, after six weeks rest. He has a look of determination that would terrify you even at kick off when your batteries are full.

    How do you feel?

    I can't wait till Sunday!

Sky **** and their fixture changes.

Anyone give me an insight; flight's at 5pm from Stansted on the Sunday; chances of making it on time from the game? Should be leaving the Emirates at 2pm.

Very tight I'd say! Google says to take the 271 bus from Liverpool road to Finsbury square then walk to Liverpool Street station and get the train to arrive in airport at 15:46. That's all providing you can make the 1st bus at 14:08. Add 15mins for every missed bus.

No problem, 3 hours is loads. Done it with less. Try and get an express from ****tingham hale rather than a normal train. Be grand.

So it looks like Costa will play on Sunday. Worry more about his riling up our players than his goal scoring ability. Hope our lads don't rise to it. Nothing would make me happier than to see him sent off though.

Do not do this, we went to Liverpool St after we slapped United this year. ****in disaster. Walk to finsbury park tube station, tube to Tottenham hale. Express to airport. In airport havin a pint by 4.15.

You will definitely make it. No hassle as long as there isn't engineering work and the stanstead express is running (which if it is Leicester, nothing planned for that day). Even by mini-cab it should only take about hour even with the matchday traffic chaos.

Go to Finsbury Park after the match to get to Tottenham Hale if training it.

I live a 20 minute walk from the Emirates, towards angel and even from my place , setting off at 2.00 going into all the traffic mess you'd still make it. Standstead is about £40 in a mini cab from Finsbury Park. Cheaper on Uber but not guaranteed a car etc.

If you need local mini-cab numbers I can give you some numbers or any other advice just PM me but I wouldn't be worrying. You will make 4.00 at Standstead easy for a 5.00 flight.

Agree - you are going back on yourself, the buses are slow as hell after the match, full also.

Don't go to H&I tube either. Go back to Finsbury park and take either an overground train or Victoria line up to Tottenham Hale- plenty of options.

Lets hope we hammer these -- ok I have managed to get a card every time we have played these recently - so lets leave it at lets hammer them.

    Thanks for the responses lads.

Should be doable alright; worst case scenario walk to Tottenham Hale (~1hr10m) and Stansted Express @ 15.23 would have you there before 4pm. May buy the security fasttrack just in case.

That's a complete joke having to play Saturday morning away to Everton after Wednesday night away to Barcelona.

I'm surprised Wenger hasn't already complained or at least highlighted this.

I think he said "you are all snakes".
So he's probably a Mourinho supporter.

    But why would it matter?
That wouldn't annoy me at all.
