Would probably need to be steel - try crittals - they made the standard single glaze steel windows of 1960's Dublin and they still exist

Could be done with standard double glazing with a custom Georgian Bar detail through the window.

There is lots of nice patio doors, sliding, lift and slide, bi-fold etc but they all have solid panes of glass. Does any exist that look like this? Lots of little rectangular window panes?

    Thanks in advance :)

Your biggest problem with something like that is that these type of doors would have to be single glazed and non thermally broken to achieve the slim profile look, therefore they will have a terrible U-Value. If its a new build forget about it as you wont pass the regs, however if its a retro fit you could consider it but it would not be advised.

Edit. Not sure how this appeared again. Must have refreshed a window I had open!
