8/15 since City against poor opposition.

Not a bad result. With the players we had out, the teams they've beat there this season and our record their ill take the point.

If we could beat Chelsea it will have been a decent return for 3 games we'd have shat our load in previous years.

    Iwobi looks an quality prospect

We yet again saw today the difference a keeper like Cech makes

Tough place to go, we stood up and I'm happy to take the point.

    Monreal was outstanding

That was poor, never looked like scoring. Özil was badly missed

2 tough away fixtures but 2 points is a poor return. Makes the anfield result look worse then it probably was now.

City winners this weekend. All to play for.

You really could do with a back up big man, throw a cheeky bid in for Benteke :pac:

Make that 90. Bit more attack on the bench and he would have been taken off long ago or should have at least

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,783 ✭✭✭emergingstar

Still top after two away fixtures wit our injuries

I said weeks back we stay within 4 of city after this run of fixtures we have a chance

It's going better than I thought

Yeah he was disappointing, his running with the ball was okay but his distribution was awful

Top of the league. Not too bad.

This run will have been acceptable if we beat Chelsea.

Really missed Ozil and Sanchez there. Hopefully both back next week. Really need to beat Chelsea now.

Campbell is quality, very good again today. We won't be buying anyone else either I reckon after Iwobi's two cameos,he's shown enough against Sunderland and today to be an actual option now.

Luckily nobody else has done any better, and it's how you do compared to the other teams in the league that matters.

Goalkeeper wasting time at 0-0 v Stoke. Who are we?

We're Arsenal, away at a team we almost always lose at?

Stoke, poor? Hardly! Tough to beat at the Britannia. Ditto Liverpool At Anfield. Beat Chelsea at home and I'll be happy.

    I'll take it.
We defended well which i contribute to Ramsey actually staying back and not leaving Flam exposed.

We had nothing in attack but that's what happens when Sanchez,Ozil and Cazorla are out of the team.

I really am just enjoying being a contender not losing either of the last two games was key, coming out of these 3 games in top would be brilliant

Players coming back for the run in and the new lad

Point gained...credit to the defence and Flamini.

top after away to stoke and liverpool. given the circumstances that's ok. attacking wise we are suffering.

always maintained that if we start February top or level we will win this league. When this squad is fit wel go on a run.

I do laugh now when people will say it was down to Stoke not being great, etc. we matched them with fire and a battle today...that's why we drew.

Thought that was a very good all round performance against Stoke. The defence was very stubborn and we played the offside trap well. Ramsey had a great game as well, loved the way he was really aggressive in the first ten minutes :pac:

With Sanchez and Özil, we may have won that game, which is really annoying. Can't wIt to get Wilshere back as well.

    Wtf do you expect?
In our last 5 away to Stoke we've lost 3 and drawn the other 2.

We had little going forward so a point is welcome.

    What run of games exactly?

The last 5 teams we've played are in 7th, 9th, 10th, 15th and 17th. As for Stoke, their home record is now 17 points from 11 games, their away record is 16 points from 11 games.

Still top. Two points eaten into our lead in two really tricky away games.

A few home games coming up now.

You have to be enjoying this.

you can't trust twitter but apparently every team that has won the EPL has never been beaten at Stoke in that season?

United and City can't say same. Between us and Spurs so:D

You have an awful outlook when it comes to football everything and everyone is poor, nothing is ever good enough, your team is top of the league and should be given respect for achieving that with the players they have lost to injury

I don't get why you watch if it's never good

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,257 ✭✭✭omega man

We haven't beat them away since 2010. Puts that result into perspective despite the disappointment of not winning.

In previous seasons with all the injuries we've had, we would have lost at Anfield and Stoke. We've made progress in that regard and that can only be a good thing. Reckon we'll win our next two and maybe then we can start believing...
