i wouldn't be one to try and put down a small enterprise or to cost them business. it's great to see a lad creating a business from his passion and twice as great to see it succeed. i also wouldn't be suggesting that Curran isn't a good contributor, he certainly offers lots of good advice, no doubt about it. the fact does remain though that the OP to this thread is a shill.

Are you planning on opening a competing business or something?

You seem to have an odd fixation on Vectra and have gone to some lengths to even go and create memes about this topic. If you're really that bothered by what you appear to see as an obvious shill, report the damn topic and don't keep posting about your theories within it, and no, none of this "I won't lower myself to report something, someone else can do that" b0ll0x, either do it or leave the topic alone, you've made your point.

meme's don't take long to make and honestly i thought they conveyed my message better than a typed post ever could, i have the morning off and it's too wet to walk the dog so i'm not at much anyway. this is like the detailing version of "Making a Murderer". it's not a personal attack at anyone, merely looking for the real story because as it stands, it just doesn't make sense. anyway, i reported it just there. we'l see, maybe i'm wrong, if i am i'l take it, no hassle. :)

Guys, shed has been mentioned many times in this forum, and for good reason as this is a forum that use their products a lot.

Let's stop the crap and focus on the products.

The way I see it Curran has done a lot for this forum with his extensive and in-depth posts, his researching products, his knowledge etc. I know he has done a lot for me when it comes to stuff I'm after and I think threads like this are kind of a way of paying him back for it. No harm in it at all.

But that's just my opinion. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but no one is entitled to have everyone else agree with it ;)

All I know is that I'm still a learner when it comes to proper detailing and I have bugged the cr@p out of Curran and Vectra with silly questions and they always replied professionally and with sound advice. Their replies have generally been proper for both for the serious person looking for a proper detail and somebody looking to quickly correct an accident (spill, etc). If one if them says something is worth looking at, I'll look at it as they have! For buying, as Ireland is so small, its going to be either Detailing Shed or D&D Detailing for my supplies.

If Curran and/or Vectra decide to abandon this Forum (a possibility given some posters here) its going to be a much poorer place because of it.

I'm a customer of Curran's and have received plenty of great advice from him. I wouldn't like to see him suffer because of the OP. The fact remains that the OP is out of order in what he did, at least that would be my interpretation of the rules and indeed the spirit of Boards. If he had started a thread about the products alone and then informed where to get them IF/WHEN ASKED, then there would be no problem in my mind. But instead he chose to push detailingshed in the post and in the thread title. But he seems to have leave to do as he wishes within this forum whether he stays within the rules or not.

BTW, I reported the OP before there were any replies to the thread.

My only issue with the thread is the fact that at a few people assume I requested that the post be put up on my behalf...which is 100% not the case.

Other than that; I'm glad people appreciate the effort I put in to help people out; and plenty of times I've recommended products I don't even sell, so sound advice is what I aim to give.

Like most posters have mentioned on here and I'm going to repeat them like the broken record that I am.
I'm grateful that Curran and Vectra, along with other posters put so much time and effort in putting up pictures and info on products they used to either carry out a quick wash or a full detail.

I've bounced so many questions of Curran about coatings and he has always replied in great detail. This forum should be used to highlight products and provide constructive dialog on how to improve aspects of car cleaning and detailing, but should be done so in away that doesn't look like an advertisement from the onset.

*Sorry biko only saw your warning

Used the ODK Arctic Snow Foam on the car yesterday, was very impressed with it, lovely thick foam that does the job.

Stop encouraging the troll - best not to reply to any of their posts so they dont get the satisfaction.
