Some people love to chat but I am hopeless at small talk,I get bored after a few minutes.but a friend of mine loves to talk, years ago a group of us went drinking in cork city and stayed in another friends house ,next day,Sunday, we were all a bit bored so my friend went out the door ,knocked at the door of the house across the road and spent an hour talking to the man that opened it,just about living in the estate and life in general etc.

I just bump into strangers sometimes, it depends on the situation. A few nights ago a Polish woman randomly came up to me and asked if I wanted to go have a drink with her because she was in the city alone and wanted to meet some locals. I decline and felt bad about it but Im really a quite awkward and shy person so really it owuldnt have been fun for either of us..

Generally the only strangers I talk to are elderly people at bus stops, queues and sometimes if I give money to homeless people we chat for a little bit.
