Is Sanchez the only injured player returning this week?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,345 ✭✭✭jamescd

Great 3 points, the team looks ****ed physically though.

My stream cut to Old Trafford at the final whistle, Fabianski almost with a last grasp equalizer for Swansea!

It's good that United held on, we want the tactical genius LVG staying on :D

    We might have Elneny in?

Thought Campbell played well when he came on too, think he fully deserves to start ahead of the Ox as he looks the better player at the moment IMO. Top of the league now for the next two weeks, so happy days. I'd consider making a few wholesale changes for the cup game, just to see what else we have player wise.

Agreed Campbell has come on massively; probably one of the most limited players we have in a technical sense but his effort and the fact he makes the right decision most of the time more than make up for it. Chamberlain is very worrying; he should really be at a stage where he's kicking on now.

Sounds like we need to make a few changes for the Fa Cup game..drop Flamini, the Ox and Mert. Will new boy Elneny be available?

Chambers, Joel and Gibbs were very good when they were on.

Lads, I don't give a sh*te if every game is like that from now till May.

Get points. Go home. Wait for next match.

    Perfect.

Arteta and Rosicky due over the next two weeks also, hopefully a new signing too

A new signing could really be the difference between first and second

With Sanchez back it makes the debate about ox/Campbell redundant

Can't see why you think Campbell is technically limited. He's still finding his feet in the premier league and is already far better than the Ox, who is the definition of technically limited.

Anyway great result, poor performance. 3 more points. On we march.

Had a shocker today but I wouldn't be so harsh. Don't think Flamini compliments him whatsoever. Would even rather chambers in there next game.

I think you can play Ramsey in a midfield 3 maybe not a 2

I will hold judgment until there is a better player beside him too though

    Not really.
When Sanchez is back i don't really want to see Walcott starting. He doesn't contribute enough defensively and Sanchez will take over scoring wise.

Campbell actually defends and has much better build up play compared to Walcott.

Got out of jail big style. We were very poor at home to a very poor team. We were lucky boys not to be 2-3 down by the time we scored.

    BUT:
We won, and probably should have got the 2nd near the end. We got 3 points and that's what we wanted at 3pm. Put it behind us and remember we're still top and now it's no longer on goal difference thanks to Leicester's draw. COYG!

He's not; Chamberlain is actually very technically gifted. At the moment he just doesn't seem switched on in matches, is nearly always making the wrong decisions and consequently his confidence is shot and you can see that in his body language.

I would also play Walcott esp with Ozil behind him

    Now, Watford, listen up.

These are type of games you need to win for us to win the league!

    Ramsey is fantastic.

Without him this injury crisis would have us out of the race.

Although he should have just knocked it to Joel at the end there.

He literally hasn't gotten any better since we bought him though, seen enough of him now over the years to be able to call a fair judgment on him. One of the com
commentators on my stream said didnt contributed a goal or assist in 2015 which is a disgrace for a young winger trying to claim a place in that side.

I know what you're saying but I don't know if my heart could take it.
The odd decent performance and comfortable win would be good for my physical health

    Fully agree.
He keeps going and going and is very important 1st team player.

Am on out to the pub now. Much happier now after a hard fought victory.
Really happy that cup is next.
Sunderland will probably make 11 changes due to league game the following midweek.

So pleased with the state of our squad atm that we are not in the League Cup Semi Finals. A lot of them look like they need a rest

Would probably start Ox and Theo next week. Both need confidence and Theo needs goals.

I find it hard to criticise Ramsey. Just so much energy in his game.

He works hard and that's all you can honestly expect from a person.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,433 ✭✭✭wandatowell

One less game to drop points in.

    18 to go.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,783 ✭✭✭emergingstar

    Team next week

    Ospina

    Debuchy. Hayden. Gab. Gibbs

    Chamber elneny/flam

    Iwobi. Ox. Sanchez

    Walcott

I'm sorry but all we can expect for a player for arsenal is he works hard?

    That's bs.

Many arsenal players worked hard but we're slated for been poor in the past.

I'd be surprised at that back 4, we'll see one of Mert or Koscielny I reckon

Wenger never makes wholesale changes for the FA Cup though.
Four changes at most i'd say.
