I got a craving for chocolate so I took the half-full tin of Quality Street out of the wardrobe (I hid them there so they wouldn't be calling to me everytime I sat down), and I ate six chocolates in a row.
Now, instead of feeling satisfied, I feel queasy.
    My own fault.

People who are too cool to say happy new year on Facebook....instead say happy January

Why bother like....99% of people don't post anything....why post something so far up your own hole it's nearly coming out your neck

    Happy New Year!!!!!!!!! :D

My TA is that a certain ex mod (LizT) is a bad influence but I am sad that she's leaving me again for Doha. Summer can't come quick enough!

TA that I always wake early. Body clock is better than any alarm & can't seem to find the off button.

No chance of ever getting a lie-in.

I want to say Happy New Year, but that would mean less posts here & that would be unthinkable.

Why do people of a certain age (>old) think they can cross roads wherever they like and regardless of the traffic?

    Oh, and happy new year.

I am very annoyed with John Mayer. He's tipping Katy Perry again. Before that he was with Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson. Some people are just greedy

Now I know there is nothing anyone can do about the weather and theres no point really in complaining about it but for some reason this morning it is pushing me over the edge.

I didnt mind it over Christmas because the plan was to eat, drink and relax and thats exactly what was done, but Im back to work tomorrow so have to check back into the real world.Im lucky Ive escaped the floods but feel a bit guilty when all around there are people in awful situations due to them. The wind and rain is awful again this morn and I just cant hack it. According to the weather threads on here there is worse to come.:(

How the hell am I meant to start off my plans of healthy eating, exercise or cutting back on booze in these conditions. I will defer my resolutions until Feb. but Im not too confident that they will ever get off the ground at this rate.

Oh and Happy New Year TAers, sorry for the poor me post but Im under the weather this morn.:o

Ooh thanks , will do !!!

I've just eaten 4 pancakes with Nutella, and 2 coffees, I feel nauseous. It was to be fruit and water all the way today too, that resolution didn't even get going :(
The kids are in a desperate routine, I'm dreading Wednesday morning now, I'll be shouting like a lunatic.
Not knowing whether we are expecting visitors or not, so don't know whether to go out and get a few bits in. These particular visitors , ahem in laws, can never seem to let us know for definite if they are coming. You know they are here when they show at the door :(

I am just back from a walk round Powerscourt. Knackered. I must be in serious bad shape that a wee walk round a big garden has left me in need of an oxygen tent!
I wont be suspending my healthy January....dont think my body can take any more abuse. And....wait for it...I think I am sick of wine!

Well done for getting out of the house as I havent put a foot outside apart from to the car in weeks.I wouldnt know a piece of fruit if I saw one and havent eaten a healthy morsel in way too long. I havent even got the obligatory banana or yogurt to take to work in the morning and the canteen wont be open so it will be the fecking chocolate from the machine.

I should be sick of wine but unfortunately we are best friends at the moment. Im giving myself a few more days of this carry on and then its down to business (hopefully).

People go into newsagents/bookstores who pick up newspapers/magazines there, and just read them there without buying them and stand in your way.

Snide health-conscious people slagging others for joining the gym in January and posting memes to that effect.
So what if people join in January? Who are you to judge someone for trying to get themselves fit?
I don't see why it's an issue. It's not unusual, either. Most people join in the New Year and I think they should be commended, not slagged off.

Trivially annoyed that, like Colser, me and wine are best pals at the minute but I know I really shouldn't have any more drink; I downed the best part of two bottles last night and the Fear was real today.
I'll have herbal tea this evening*
    *Unless I have alcohol.

My darling sister just got on my Facebook and said I got engaged to my bf. I've gotten calls, texts and so many messages! The absolute little git. Although it is hilarious now. At the time I was going mad!

I just noticed I don't have a 2016 wall calendar. I'd often buy some charity one or at least have one or two freebies, I wonder how did that pass me by.

Tv broadcasters approach to Christmas and new year

" you know, lets put all the good shows and movies on at the same time, then show absolute sh!t for the rest of the year, with the odd decent movie.
