Arsene is a hero to me, and I will defend him with my life. But I have to agree, if he doesn't deliver the league this year (barring a brilliant run by city) then it will be time for him to step down. I want him to go at a time of his choosing though!

    :confused::confused::confused:

Cheers, I figured it might have been. Thankfully I just skipped to last page and missed all the arguing in between.

Have to agree with Gosplan. If Wenger can't win the league this year, I don't see him doing it again. Competition will certainly strengthen during the summer, not sure Arsenal will do enough to keep up. Big chance this year though because everyone is dropping points. Still looks like City to me though unfortunately.

Man City horrific away this year though.

Last away win in the league was I think against Sunderland in September.

You can't just flick a switch plus with Pellegrini going at the end of the year being no secret, I'd question their motivation.

The massive massive thing for me is that from this point Wenger needs to get Arsenal to simply do exactly what they've done for the last two years and just be marginally the best team in the run in. If he can't do that then his teams simply can no longer handle a title tilt.

Well anyone watching the last game will know the carbon copy how to beat Arsenal.

A competent ref would be nice though. that guy against Soton was woeful.

    Tonight is so dangerous

There set up on to catch us on the break, I think gab has to start for pace Alone

Chambers I think has to start he is raw but he will at least sit back

As for forwards pick as you like I would like too see some rotation though

First goal here is massive, if they get it we will be lucky to get a draw

City have two extra away games left to pay this season than us so hopefully their poor away form continues.

hey lads ive gone with walcott, ramsey and ozil in my fantasy football team. Do you think any of those 3 will not start. I was thinking walcott could start up front over giroud tonight. FWIW I think you have the league in the bag this year its just a shame jose isnt still at chelsea to witness it.

I reckon all 3 will start aright unless they have picked up a knock from the other night that we dont know about.

Not convinced its quite in the bag but its as good a chance as we have had in quite a few years.

Some quotes from Wenger might help. Ozil is probably the likeliest candidate but he's in such good form and there's nobody to replace him really.

“Why do I use this team? Firstly because they win, and secondly because 80 per cent of the players that play are not overloaded with games and look well.

“If you look at the number of games Mathieu Flamini, Aaron Ramsey and Joel Campbell played since the start of the season… even Olivier Giroud for a long while didn’t play games and Theo Walcott also has just come back.

“These players are not overloaded with games. It is not like they have played 25 games.”

Bournemouth are no pushover. So there needs to be a plan this time, not like the most recent game, poor decisions aside. All that possession and we still lost. We need bottle and determination today and nothing short of a win.

Okay. We can defo do this.

Need a strong start, no pissing about. The other day was a blip, Bournemouth gonna pay the price.

    COME ON ARSENAL!!

Arsenal are much better as a counter attacking side these days, so it will be interesting to see how they approach it.

If we are going to end up with a lot of the ball, then I'd like to see some decent crosses in from the flanks, rather than aimless passing around outside the box.

The disgrace that ref'd us the other day is doing Bolton v Blackburn and rightly so

That said he's fcukin useless in this game too

If we're playing a team known for counter attacking, just give them the ball so we can counter it.

    Just like we did Bayern....

There's a thing, comparing our prep from Bayern to Bournemouth. This season's crazy!

    Tired and emotional now

I think it would be a good time for him to leave at the end of the season. The squad is in a good place going forward, the changeover shouldn't be as drastic as Ferguson's who left an ageing squad.

Just looking at our fixtures so far.
Have we played less Sat 3.00 pm games than any other team?

I hate these late and early games and prefer Sat 3.00 pm games when most other teams are playing.
