Will probably go in for tradition sake, good meditation space if nothing else.

Go every year with the family. A tradition I'm fine to keep.

When they start breaking out bottles of wine at communion, I will consider going.

Nah, I don't go any other day of the year, going at Christmas would almost be a bit hypocritical.

Not even weddings, funerals or baptism.

Yes. It is not an excuse to avoid preparing the turkey etc., not in the least, honest.

Just out. I'm not religious but I enjoy the hymns and the sense of togetherness. I also see the peace and tranquillity it brings to people I love who have faith. The sermon was a simple message about realising that Christmas is really all about people.

Lovely way to spend 45 minutes.

Don't pay church tax, so would be a bit hypocritical to consider going.

Definitely not, not a believer and find it strange that people insist in going at Christmas time and then forget their christian values as soon as they leave the car park.

Just how many masses do you need to attend to eat a "full" christ? :pac:

Ah yeah, I've better things to do than be preached to by an institution that covered up the molestation of kids.

But just remember if you don't sin, jesus died for nothing.

No. Don't go other times of the year, so I won't be going today or tomorrow.

Nope don't believe in any of it would feel stupid standing in mass just for the sake of it most the family will go alright

Christmas a big part of it is religious. The rest is commercialism. A blend of both is nice. Going to church is merely a reminder of what your grandparents and parents believe in. Nothing to do with religious denominations and organised religion. Nobody's going to order me to attend a mass.

Nah, I never go into a place of worship unless it has impressive architecture while Im on holidays, someone died or someone is getting married.

I try to keep my Christmases more traditional like our pagan ancestors.

Father Elton Crosby is doing it in my local. He says good mass.

Yes already been, vigil in our church was at 6. Absolutely packed to the rafters and it was a nice mass. I go every week though not just for Christmas.

I won't this year as the venue (church of choice) this year is quite poor imo.

We usually go to Ballymun Church and the atmosphere there is electric. We don't even live near Ballymun. It's the closest thing you'll get to 'black ghetto singers'. They literally give it socks and belt out Emilie Sandez tunes. However my mum is afraid to go this year as a few church goers there were forced onto their hands and knees recently whilst scumbags demanded money. So annoying.
