Bah, still no league win for Wenger against him. Was hoping we'd put that right.

    Had enough chances.

Not as many chances as you've had to say anything positive, ever :p

He'll still find a way to sneak jibs towards Wenger into his pressers the little rat

Love for Wenger to have a dig but i think he is too big of a man to do it. Just sit there and smile.

As the premier leagues current longest serving manager he's seen them all fall around him.

    I'd saw he's non plussed

Wonder will we get some revelations from their players about the season so far now?

I'm actually a wee bit disappointed to see him go so early...wanted his misery to continue for a while...wanted to see his moaning/giving out about players/referees after loosing to Sunderland and other bottom clubs and most of all wanted to see Master Wenger lift the title when he is in the bottom half.

    One point off relegation
Who's the Specialist in failure now?

If its pep to Chelsea ancelloti to city and Jose to United we really need to take our chance with the league this season.

Who did you have in mind?

If Arsene can win a league that Jose couldn't even keep his job in, that's good enough for me.

So the specialist in failure has seen the special one off twice now.

I'm so, so glad he's gone. What an awful little man.

Maybe now we'll be able to beat them.

I really want Wenger to make a sly remark when he will inevitably be asked what he now makes of Mourinho's comment that he was a specialist in failure, even to say, "I find it very ironic", with his sly smirk!

But knowing Wenger, he'll be like, "Look, I don't want to talk about that", which would be a lot more respectful, and well done to him in advance!

FFS I shared out that storify article about Agent Cesc on FB and I had a Liverpool supporting mate come back with "What's almost as funny is the fact he has won the league in England, Italy and Spain since Arsenal last won the league under Wenger".

This from some one whose team last won the League over a quarter of a century ago!!!

    Pep to City
    Hiddink to Chelsea

Though I'd obviously like Pep to Arsenal.

Really? I'm not sure I want us to be his first team/experiment where he isn't walking into an established team full of the best players in the world. Also it would be the first time that he didn't have unlimited funds to go with the established team of world class players so I'm not sure how it would go.

Whenever Wenger does leave I expect he'll be leaving a very strong team behind and the next manager will be given ample financial backing by the club. I don't think the timing will be quite right for Pep unfortunately and if he does go to another PL club it's unlikely he'd ever take the reigns at Arsenal but I do think he'd do a very good job at Arsenal.
