    My job is to pace them not carry them :P But I will happily lead a chorus of Kumbaya coming down the finish straight if anyone wants to join in.....actually since its Christmas maybe we should go with "Fairytale of New York" instead :D

    Dec 13th

    53 mins 6.15 avg 8.48 + 20 mins slow off the watch.

    Another practice run up to summit at 9 am. Out late last night but
    No drinking,tired getting up but once got running felt good. Bit of
    Rain at start of run other than that mild enough morning.

    Bit of a head cold last couple of days, lemsip and early nights next
    Week.

    Nice mild evening, ran around Raheny 5 mile loop in reverse
    Very quiet on these dark evenings.

    Ok. Just checking your leg didn't fall off. More concerned for myself though as haven't done Raheny and to see that at mile 4 created concern, again for me.

    5.56 miles 47.10 8.29 avg

    Local loop nice evening, apart from some wind blowing. 3 miles
    Warm up and one mile at 5 k pace, 5 k pace was from just before
    smurfits to Kilbarrack Fire Station, so on slight incline and against
    Wind for full mile, two road crossings held up by few seconds
    Ran by effort and felt comfortable and controlled.

    Mile 1 8.29
    Mile 2 8.14
    Mile 3. 8.25
    Mile 4. 7.04
    Mile 5. 9.29
    Mile 6. 0.56 5.19

    On upside only went to bed at 2 this morning and had couple glasses wine,
    So was tired Two traffic stops messed rhythm, good breeze blowing and felt controlled. Will have big group for cover on Saturday ��
