United have rubbish midfield and attack

    Edit : and defence

Their defence has been better than ours imo. Their shíte attack has been their downfall in the league this season.

Screw the defence. We just have to go all out for goals. We only need one more than them if it becomes a goal-fest.

I'd have to agree with this. Not completely go all out, but have the mentality that we're better than them. And, if there are lots of goals, probability will state that we will have more goals than them.

Their defence is better because they play 7 defensive players. It is also why their attack is rubbish.

I want us to attack from the off but we can't continue to leave the back door open as no matter how many we score they will have chances to score as many. We have to remain tight at the back as we are prone to getting caught on the break.

Please Mr Wenger, Giroud up the middle, Theo on the right, Ox/Campbell on the left.

    Thanks for listening, Arsene.

    Prediction time.

We do very little until second half. Then we score giving us huge hope and then concede straight away. Then the game peters out to a 1-1 draw.

    Or

We concede, score 2 in the second half, huge hope, concede immediately. 2-2

You know we're blaming you if it doesn't work, right?

The only way to do this is to play all of our best available players. C'mon!

    Early goal by Walcott.
Goal at start of second half by Ozil.
They come looking for a goal and we hit them on the break through Campbell.

Had a lovely dream last night.:D:D

Not much attacking strength on the bench if we 're chasing. All set for an early onslaught - hopefully a productive one

This will give Campbell a lot of confidence in himself starting ahead of the Ox and give Alex a kick to get himself sorted out. Perfect line-up.

4- 2 win, Walcott to nab a hattrick and us all to wonder by the end of the match what we'd been worrying about previously.*

    * or a Monaco esque performance.

Think we should have started GAB and played a really high line

I hate seeing confidence in here.

I usually buy into it, which inevitably leads to disappointment.

'Campbell is not up to this standard at all. Özil is temperamental to say the least. I don't think they'll win'. Aaaannd back to Sky Sports News build up.

luv it ... that goes in the book of classic football punditry comments... thanks need a giggle to lighten the tension:D

Looking forward to this, got a coupele of mince pies and a cuppa tea.
As long as we are still in the game at half time we have a chance (really is a night for classic football punditry)

Looking at teh team sheets, Olympiakos rested a fair few last weekend for their league match. They are well up for this.
I vote if Arsenal lose we kick Greece out of Euro zone once and for all.

cmon Campbell dont let me down . and giroud stop falling over, my 4 year old stands her ground better than you.

What a defence splitting pass from Ozil.
He has eyes in the back of his head.:D:D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,783 ✭✭✭emergingstar

    Ozil is not fit either

He's alright! Ramsey was fouled there just before the whistle and was holding his leg!!! FFS! Good half in fairness. I think we'll score again, Theo and Joel switching has caused them problems, OG looks up for it. Question is, can we keep them out?!?!

Don't think that matters. Just score 2 more and we can concede a couple.

I don't think he's fast enough to be a wing. He's a good passer, and has good vision. He needs to be in the middle, but he'll never play there for us.

Campbell has been very good since he's come in. Justifiably ahead of Ox
