    FD got my vote here as well. Her contributions to the novice thread probably went unsung but she was a constant presence there offering advice and support and has carried that through to the Graduates. She's also active throughout the logs and is well able for a bit of lighthearted banter to brighten the place up. She's also not afraid to get out and try different disciplines as her recent XC exploits have shown.

    however! there's not enough debate going on in here, I'll admit I don't know vanderlyle, apologies, but nop is a worthy nomination. He took part in a hugely positive way in the novices thread, he contributes regularly to several logs and, he has helped out IRL in Cabinteely too :) also, he looks Dutch (how can anyone forget that anna!!), he is in fact, head and shoulders over me... literally - I'll get my coat :D

    I agree with you about nop, he definitely looks Dutch :D and he was a very close second for me...

    This is always a funny category. How many of the nominees were actually new to AR in 2015? Reminds me of a few years ago when myflipflops got nominated in this category, after 6 years of posting in this forum. :)
