It's a tough league lads. Stoke look sh1t hot today, hard to know what you're going to come up against.

Hopefully it won't be hoof ball we see today, weather ain't exactly ideal for it. This will probably be a scrap of a match looking at the teams.

Stoke and Liverpool for 1st and second.

Definetely the most exciting league to watch for the neutrals.

Unless of course its us you are playing. Just give us the ball, sit back and relax while we practice our passing all the way to a 0-0 draw.

It would be brilliant to see a high energy, free flowing game from Utd today but I am not holding my breath.

This high energy free flowing game you want is a bit of a paradox when the other team will happily camp out in front of their box isn't it?

I feel that this doesn't get brought up enough tbh; its near impossible to play the "free flowing" football against teams that park the bus, and everyone parks the bus against United.

What we need is a player who can carve open that parked bus, but it's unlikely teams will start opening up enough to let us play that style of match, and there's not much you can do when teams park buses except pass around and look for the opening.

Ok that's fair enough, replace free flowing with more off the ball movement from our lads then. im expecting a 0-0 here or optimistically speaking a 1-0. I have zero confidence in our ability to break down an opposition that is in any way organised defensively.

Regarding Carrick versus Schneiderlin: They're very similar players imo. Carrick is better technically, on the ball and defending, but Schneiderlin is younger and fitter and (maybe because of that) has more games under his belt.

The people writing Carrick off as if his performances have tanked are gas. But if ever a player has been overly rated based on who he plays for and how often it's Carrick.

Please do not request streams. I'm deleting posts asking. You know its against rules, so please just don't do it.

Is there any channel showing the match?

United have conceded just 1 premier league goal at home this season so far, so hopefully we keep that going.

It's not on T.V so you probably won't get it anywhere

I thought certain pubs would have it on the foreign channels legit?

He really is a nutter, such a dirty tackle

The quality of our delivery into the box is nothing short of shocking. Very disappointing performance so far.

Fellaini the best of a bad bunch.

Blind is on a one-man mission to gift West Ham points.

The sheen has really worn off Martial. One goal in around a dozen games now.

At least Smalling is still great.

The sheen really hasn't worn off Martial at all. He is still probably the most exciting player at the club and the most likely to create something.

Another game where Utd seem to have run out of ideas after 20 minutes.

Heard the commentators say that Utd have the most backward passes and least forward passes in the league. Says it all.

It's nice seeing Fellaini in there purring himself about a bit to break up the monotony of the endless slow passing, although I did "enjoy" that half more than the last few games.
Thought he had a good shout for a peno too.

Not sure they can actually. If a pub uses a foreign provider they are supposed to get permission to air it from the league according to European courts, which they obviously won't give...

As things go it was probably one of the more exciting first halves of football we have had in a while :)

Fellaini is wearing thin with me at this point in regards to him and his nasty challenges, Mata very quiet as is Martial but West Ham defensively quite solid and not afraid to get forward either. Not quite sure where out goal can come from sadly. this is a must win game imo though given the result earlier and how things are going elsewhere, we have got to start outperforming out rivals in results instead of just plodding along with them

I actually think that we had a good shout for a pen for the Reid block. Defo hits his hand and without that it is going in.

Didn't you call him a shadow of the player he was and making simple mistakes? I'd call that writing a player off. Call it "slating him" if that fits your defintions better.

    Varela on for his debut!

Oh yeah, Varela on, McNair gone/ Schneiderlin gone, injuries are rearing their usual ugly head big time at the moment.

Since when has criticism meant writing someone off? If I was writing him off I would have said it in no uncertain terms.
