    @gramar, yes I do take flyers to be polite but fire them in the nearest bin

    @Menas , yes I've been out 3 times so far, and off out into town again to visit Santa in a while

    Do you listen to the big radio stations or more local ones ?

    I have six stations programmed in the car...all bar one are national.

    For food -a few times a week.
    For other stuff- weekly.

    Do you budget before you spend. Or just spend and worry about it later?

    I always put aside some money each week to put in my Post Office savings account.
    Then I pay the rent and bills and then the food shop.
    I do take notice of bargains/price reductions and spend around €60 on groceries.
    Whatever is left is for the rest of the week.
    I do this every week, so I guess it is kinda budgeting.

    Do you watch soaps?
