hi all just bought an iMac and I'm learning the ropes after 20 years of windows, anyway long story short i do a bit of printing and i have always used microsoft publisher, so I'm looking for something similar to use on the iMac.
all i want to be able to do really is edit downloaded images and add texts, kind of like personalised stickers.
thanks in advance for any help

These are cheap dtp packages for OSX.. Only you can only decide which suits your needs best.

You could try Pixelmator from the App Store. It's a bit like Photoshop.

Gimp is also a decent free graphics editor.

You can also use Preview to do some basic editing and Text, it's already installed on your Mac in the Applications folder.
Here's a quick guide to what it can do.

For about €40, there is Graphic Convertor which is very good. You can use it on a free trial as well.
