I have a business idea in my head but will all be depending on shipping costs. anybody have any idea how much would it be to ship a sealed wooden box that weighs about 30 to 40 kg including contents from Dublin to America.

Most of the courier companies such as DHL, UPS FedEx will have rate calculators on the websites. You will need the weight and the dimensions of the box. Seafreight would probably be just as expensive by the time you allow for collection, minimum shipping, customs clearance and delivery in the US which will vary by city.
