I had a quick look at your blog out of curiosity and for ideas for my own.....

The thing that bothers me most about it is how does one get a ruby developer job first and then learn ruby?

I'm learning ruby at the moment too and want to get into development but a degree (have one of them) seems to be no use without experience so i'm guessing you just side stepped into ruby from some other discipline? enlighten me please....
