any good deals on coal Newbridge?

I heard sometimes mcloughlins do deals on coal,anyone tried them?

Quinns in Athy probably best. Kilkenny side of Athy opposite Topaz.

3 x 40kg BNM house coal + 4 briquettes €55

House coal is a mix of various coals and peat nuggets. Great heat from it.

They have a branch in Naas but as this coal is not smokless, they can't stock it there.

B&Q had 5 briquettes for €18 on Sunday.

Mcloughlins do a bag of coal for €9.99. They have 3 kinds. 2 are 20kg bags and the third is a 25kg bag. So I suppose the deal is you get 5kg more for the same price.

That blue bag in Mcloughlins is brutal in an open fire. Not a patch on bnm polish coal.

Curtis and Sons do some great deals you'll find them on FB easy enough and I've thrown there number on below

1 bag smokeless coal (40kg )
3 bags logs or 3 bags turf
1 large bag kindling
All these for €30

2 bags smokeless coal (40kg)
2 bales briquettes (BNM)
2 bags logs or 2 bags turf
All these for €50
